Did you noticed any changes on freedom of speech, freedom of assembly ,free press and human rights?
No I didn't PUBLICLY, but privately, there were some pretty lively discussions. This is a good thing, and good things take a little time to come to fruition, as you know. These things will slowly happen,(at the rate that other changes have occurred), that were deemed 'impossible', just a short time ago. Cuba,(and Raul Castro), are on the 'slow and steady, road to improvement. This is necessary, in order to get the financial well-being of all citizens, to rise relatively evenly. Remember, the Cuban Government has looked after the financial and food distribution needs, for many, many, years, and most people do not understand that a work ethic is required, to earn enough money to purchase these goods and food, with the proceeds of their own work effort. The young people realize that the harder you work, and save, the sooner you can aquire sufficient funds to pay your own way, and acquire the items that you desire. The older folks haven't had sufficient time to grasp this system yet.
Slow and steady will win this race, I'm sure.

Entiendes porque siempre digo que la unica cosa que va a cambiar en cuba son los nombres de los politicos pero hasta vamos a ver MAS corrupcion .

Mira a miami-dade Y hialeah. La Miami Cubana MAFIA de politicos .

"The Cuban criminal element in Dade County is a well organized, politically powerful, crime confederation. Ironically, this has not been achieved in the traditional way, that is poor immigrants struggling through a visa quota to enter the United States; once here, using force and violence to reassert themselves as other groups before them have done, like the Irish, Jews, Italians. On the contrary, Cubans were indiscriminately welcomed with open arms as political refugees."

The irony of Cuba , the sad fate of Cuba, will be that the corrupt Castro's will be replaced with corrupt Miami Cuban politicians and officials .

The single best thing that could happen to a Cuban and I say this being born in Cuba is NOT A SINGLE Cuban politician in office whether Cuba OR Miami.

You could probably count on one hand the honest Miami Cuban politicos in 50 yrs and this also explains why Miami Cuban run Miami-dade and Hialeah are top 5 WORSE run cities in USA.

From all I have seen ,ZERO political and police standards defines Miami-dade and Hialeah.

"Dario Moreno, a professor of political science at Miami International University, incurred the wrath of fellow Hispanics when he went on the CBS News magazine 60 Minutes and criticized Miami's Cuban community for the city's corruption"

Congratulations, Miami-Dade! You're home to two of the five worst-run cities in the country.
