" He will likely be serving that time on weekends, and despite what some may think, it's not uncommon."

What is uncommon is that a member of a county Board of Supervisors is among the inmates -- who is able to retain his position.

If he truly cared about the people he represents than he would step down at their request.

Can not believe the arrogance and feeling that he is untouchable (pun intended) for his actions.
But, after reading comments from stories this last week, maybe he learned it from Boyd. Bend over taxpayers!!!!!!1

Absolutely unacceptable. This guy needs to get run out of town.

Absolutely appauling. Even those arrested for DUI charges and employed don't have the opportunity of serving their sentences on the weekends.
Have we really reached the point where we treat sexual assult the same as reckless driving and driving without current inspection stickers and expired registrations?
What message is this sending to the women in our county?
Shame on the County Board of Supervisors who voted against his dismissal.
How could somone like Dumler ever represent a client in any court of law?

Every time I see video of this guy, he has the perfect behavior and look of a sociopath. I find him to be very creepy.
Most definitely he should not be allowed to continue on the board. I am not sure what is more disgusting, him having zero shame and being willing to step down on his own accord, or the board members that gave him a pass to keep his job.

I'm not so sure that's true. The only person that I know that has received two duis got to serve his time on the weekends, and using the term employed with this winner, is using it in the loosest sense of the word.

This situation is going from bad to worse. I was hoping he would not be allowed to serve his sentence by going in on weekends.

lol. Maybe that's why you weren't elected. "Censure" does not mean the same thing as "dismissal." English 101 there. As has been reported over and over and over, the BOS can't just vote to boot someone out for a misdemeanor. If you think he should resign, hey that's great--but you should maybe try to make an effort to keep straight the most basic facts of the matter.

This burg has many that rotate in and out of the "house of slams" only too often and it seems appropriate to deduct eight dolars a night from their varied federal and state benefit programs.

While I do not for a nanosecond defend Dumler's actions, the first statement above is patently false. I can state this unequivocally as I know a gainfully employed individual recently convicted of two misdemeanor offenses--to include a second DUI--who is currently serving their 30 day term on weekends.

We all have a right to our opinion (and mine is that Dumler should step down, immediately); however, we do not have the right to our own "facts"--quotes intentional.

Considering all the posts that claim to know the "facts" and clearly don't, here's one for you:

Was anyone witness to what went on in the bedroom between these two? Then how do you, or how does anyone know the "facts".
