I heard that some Ugandan women were deported from UK for prostitution. What is so surprising about this homosexuality promoter being deported from Uganda? It took the UK centuries of years to get 'desensitized' or 'civilized' enough to where the Brits either accept such strange behavior or they can care less. Uganda is still too senstive to such raw promiscuity! My advice, gays please try and stay in the closet in Africa. Africans are not yet so 'civilized' to accept such stuff. Actually in America too this issue of gay rights is still a hot potato!

I hope the UK will retaliate and deport some Ugandans. Their ambassador could be a good start.

Many cultures in Africa were highly accepting of homosexuality before contact with Europeans. "Civilization" is not the issue - influence of fundamentalist reiligion is.

JohnInToronto your comment on religion has some truth to it. Let's face it, who brought 'civilization' to Uganda? my limited knowledge of history tells me they were religious missionaries. As a result religion took root in Africa just like it did in most countries of the world. I believe there is nothing wrong with religion. It is a choice a mature person makes for their soul as 'spiritual food'. That is why even President Obama recently said that he reads his bible regularly to become a better husband and a better leader. I do not think that religion is the problem. The gay community think that by attacking religion they will convince all those who don't like religion to accept homosexuality! Nothing further from the truth! Go ask any villager in Uganda who does not go to church and has never read the bible, if they accept gay life style - they will laugh at you! Nature tells us, that the 'love needs' of a man are found only in a woman! Anything else is called perversion of nature!
What did God say about homosexuality? The only record I read in the bible was that homosexuality makes God want to vomit!
