Can anyone explain the logistics of how you turn a prison into a distillery? It seems to me that a distillery would need a fair amount of open space for vats, piping, boilers, condensers, etc. I don't recall seeing any pictures of Brushy over the years that evidenced much open space.

What's the real angle here?

This is not a Petros project, it is a Morgan County Project.

There's supposed to be petitions to sign out there to bring it in where are they? And brushy has a lot of room to make a distillery with its own fresh water supply I say come on and bring the jobs to those who wanna work instead of sittin on their behinds drawing obamas handouts

. hogwash, Don Edwards has next to nothing to do with getting this project , The Morgan county industrial board is the people who did all the work, This is the board that Edwards, Smiths and the Crouchs have fought for 3yrs, Ridgeview mental health have people who are more qualified to run the county then Edwards.

It might give the community something to be proud of again. I remember being excited about being mentioned in Silence of the Lambs and the October Skies filming. Petros needs to be known by something other than The Devil 's Triangle and the "widespot ". Jobs sound great many of us need a steady paycheck and hope for the future.

Edwards said in the paper that he prayed about the budget and decided not to veto the budget wonder if he prayed about supporting the moonshine making before he announced he supported it

I think this will be a wonderful thing for petros and morgan county! There are petitions going around because I've signed it. It will create over 300 jobs! They are keeping the prison the way it is and making a sort I museum out of it and having tours. They are also keeping to the history of the prison and some of the names for the liquor are things like end of the line. They will have fairgrounds for events like concerts, a restaurant with organic locally grown food, walking trails and camping areas. They are also planning on having a town meeting at some point for the people in charge of his project to come speak about everything and I've the residents of petros and Morgan county to have any questions they may have answered
why not?
