AirTran to add routes to Mexico, Puerto Rico

The airline said Sunday that AirTran Airways will add nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale , and San Juan , Puerto Rico , and will add routes to Mexico from both San Antonio , Texas, and Orange County , Calif.

Will AirTran get a bailout when it becomes less competitive in the market it currently serves.

Didja miss that AirTran was bought by Southwest? The only always-profitable airline this side of Air America? Southwest doesn't do anything they can't make a buck on. Though I can't understand why the SAT-CUN flights aren't scheduled to start 'til spring; I've been in the tourist business in Mexico and the money season is Christmas to Easter.
