I visited this store a few days ago. Its terrible. This place is like an animal death trap. Terrestial animals housed in exo-terra arboreal cages, multiple chameleons housed in one cage without proper ventilation (the chameleons were obviously stressed by the presence of others), tons of baby bearded dragons crammed into cages together, some with no heat source, snakes housed together, sometimes even a large snake with a smaller one, no heat source for the snakes, fish tanks that look like they were decorated by 5-year-olds with tons of fish crammed in them, 10 large rats crammed in dirty 10 gallon tanks, terrible substrate choices like calci-sand, tons of goldfish crammed into the same tanks (for those who don't know, gold fish need about 10 gallons per fish since they create so much waste), betas crammed into those tiny cups, etc.

Just another crappy pet store staffed by people who know nothing about how to care for animals. Would it kill them to actually read some of the animal care books they sell?

I'm sure people who have no clue about caring for animals like Sheri will think this place is great. For people who care about animals though, please don't give them your business.

The owner likes to tell people who can no longer care for their pets that he will find caring homes for them. EXCEPT that he chooses to abandon the animals in rural areas. I don't know who Tim is but I know that this guy is a first-class douche.

"Hey Tim they're called feeder fish.Maybe you should pick up one of those animal care books for yourself."

And if you'd do any research whatsoever, you'd know that "feeder fish" are poor feeders for pretty much everything. Here, I did some quick Google searches for you:

http://www.firsttankguide.net/feederfish.php
http://www2.theoscarspot.com/viewtopic.php...
http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/general-r...

The fact that you think its okay to crowd animals so they become sickly and diseased, and then sell them off as feeders (when they are poor feeders to begin with) to ignorant pet owners speaks volumes. I wonder if you are a store employee?

It's also sad that you think it is okay to mistreat animals just because they're being bred/sold as food.
