Portland is a pit. Oregon is a hell hole.

Vibrant? How about chronically economically depressed, constantly wet, nasty and deeply unfriendly people, governments that cannot be trusted, corrupt cops and a culture of whining.

Yes, that should be emulated by other people.

Who is kidding whom? Most of the country can't even pronounce the name of the state. How many other states have that particular distinction? No one cares about Oregon because Oregon is a red-necked, hick, nazi-loving, racist state still living in the 1930s.

How come Oregon (Portland in particular) has so many ugly people. Next time you ride the Max, go to a mall (LLoyd Center), etc., one must look far and wide to see anyone who is pleasing to look upon. Oregon may not be the most racist state in the Union (see above article), but its inhabitants are surely the most ugly in the Union.
