We don't need an improvement, what we need is cops out nailing people that are driving to f****** fast on surface streets. That's just one intersection. I can think of dozens in SE PDX where you take your life in your hands anytime you cross the roadway. It's behavior that needs modified and punished, not physical infrastructure in this case. If they started nailing every car that blew through crosswalks with a $300 fine for each offense, that would stop it.
