Its not just the owner it IS the dog. Do you people not understand this breed was bred for fighting? They have locking jaws and no fear. Yes they are loving and loyal, until they get excited and go into the red zone. That's when they loose control. If you scream or hit them they get more excited. The only way to get a pit to release is throw water in their face. A hose works best. The dog will lose its concentration, breath, and release. Should pit bulls be banned? Yes, presa canirio, cane corsos too.

Pits do not have locking jaws check your facts! It is not the breed it is the owners and breeders!

Good home or bad,trained or not,it's not a matter of IF a pit will someday turn and attack but WHEN. Be sure you have enough insurance to cover a seven figure hospital/doctor bill and judgement . Having a cute little pit can ruin you financially for life.
