I am so glad to see Poland recognize the uprising for over time the tragedy the Jews suffered has been forgotten in the tragedy all of Europe had to encounter. Hitler was a bad man. First of all I do not hate Jews since that would mean I would hate half of myself LOL. In fact I have defended Jews in recent days from anti-semitic slurs that a certain individual on these forums has been using to slander my half Jewish heritage.

If you are trying to say that there are SOME bad criminal anti-semitic Poles that blame Jews, THEN YES I would agree with you that they exist and I condemn them along with you. We know there are bad Poles BECAUSE there is BAD and GOOD in EVERY group of people.

many European countries and with the history they had and continue to have with Germany it was severe. I know that. But the history with the Jews has some deeper roots, as well. Some of my family remains in Bialystok today, as it did in years before Hitler, which is why some left. They fight today about who was worse to them the Poles or the Russians...depending upon their politics. Some who came here consider themselves Russian refuges, some Polish. I'm just glad my part of the family survived...and managed to come here.

In the Arab World the Jews have virtually NO influence in their media. MOST of their media is anti-semitic and Anti-American - NOT all the time but MANY times.

I am talking primarily in the mainstream media (NOT all media) of the US and Western world. This media is controlled primarily by LEFT-WINGers who are mostly (but not all) Jews. They hate the most Europeans especially East Europeans. They love the most people of color and then Jews. THAT MEANS:

When there are problems/disputes between Jews and East Europeans/Poles, THIS media makes the Jews the good guys and the East Europeans/Poles the BAD guys. Eastern Europe/Poles are Anti-Semitic blah blah blah and Jews are the good guys!

HOWEVER

When it comes to problems/disputes between Jews and non-Europeans ie Arabs and Muslims, MOST of the time the Jews are the BAD guys and the Arabs and Muslims are the good guys because that is the mindset of the LEFT-WING media EVEN if they are Jewish.

In general I agree with you.

There has been so much propaganda about both sides. The Soviet Union/Russia skillfully started (pushed anti-semitic and anti-Polish propaganda which still resonates today) and fanned ethnic tension between Poles and Jews in Poland because its always easier to control a nation when it is DIVIDED.

The Soviets/Russians then made themselves look like the good guys by trying to take the moral high ground and using these ethnic tensions between both sides and thereby JUSTIFYING their existence in Poland by keeping these tensions "undercontrol".

Remember VIRTUALLY NOTHING happened in Soviet controlled Poland since it was a dominated POLICE STATE. Virtually nothing bad or good happened in Poland WITHOUT the Soviets BEING part of it/knowing about it.

As for today, Poland just virtually NEVER gets any credit for any good it has done in the US Left-wing media. Actually, Abe, I am tired of the Russians and many
quoting Poles for the hatred of the Jews. Blaming all Jews for all the problems and have jumped on the bandwagon, too quickly. Healing should take place. My interaction with Poles in America have not been positive and the Poles that are Jewish are unsure, such as my Russian/Jewish grandparents. But Poland is large and so are the borders. We all are products of our total environment. For a while I was reading very hateful anti-Jewish post.
