Poland feels that it plays a special role in history as a witness for Jesus. For this reason, the Polish People cannot embrace un-Christian philosophies, such as the acceptance of homosexual acts as normal.

Rom 1:26-27 "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error."

1 Cor 6:9 "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals"

1 Tim 1:9-10 "realizing the fact that (civil) law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers"

Lev 18:22-23 "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev 20:13 "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death."

Gen 19:5-8 "and they called to Lot and said to him,'Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.' But Lot went out to them at the doorway, and shut the door behind him, and said,'Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.'"

I just heard this Brendan Fay in an interview on BBC Satellite Radio. I think he must be Irish. The guy is amazing! Most importantly he and his partner are doing something I wish more of us would do, myself included.

They are confronting Homophobia head-on. We tend to talk, bitch, moan, give money to HRC, etc... but how often even on a small scale, do we confront directly those who attack or offend us? Our parents, siblings, friends, co-workers, elected officials?

And look what amazing progress actual dialog has allowed with these two. Sure not all of Poland embraces them, but they've become a physical symbol for those progressives to shake hands with, to say, hey we're not all crazy like our leaders, some of us live in modern times.

Lesson observed :-) Thanks brave gay couple

P.S.

I dated very briefly a closeted polish guy, even at 29 the kid was terrified of his parents finding out. I've dated closeted men before but nobody who's fear so affected even their sex life. From the stories he told, I glimpsed how entrenched in tradition and religious dogma many Polish people still are. It's sad how religion is, I hope it continues to kill its future.

What church do you preach in? Good, then stay there and preach there. Please, I mean, does anybody come here to read the Bible?

Once again the religious wing-bats try to do something which only blows up in their faces. Kinda reminds me of when they sued to get their religious clubs in school only to allow gay-straight alliances to exist. You gotta wonder how them making such a huff-n-fuss over gay marriage will only solve our problem in the end.

Dear Jerzy.I had watched a few years ago reportage about rumanian street children. These poor children were forced by their parents to prostitute in purpose improving family financial situation. Some of these children ,especialy boys, placed their adds with photos on internet to find a rich homosexual client all over the world.Of course in that case parents had no idea about it.The question is who should be panished more by the law and God-these poor children their parents or homosexuals, who are taking advantage of situation.Case no2.What about these boys, who had been raised in orphanges run by homosexual monks. There was no kidnapping mentioned. What about these boys, who were sexualy abused in Youth Correction Centres by the guards. These situations make me really sad and mad but not a gay couple, who has been visited Poland.I'm wondering what would you say ,if Poland was visited by Karla Homolka and her exhusband.
