I object to the statement, "Marie Curie and her husband worked closely together in their laboratory." actually, it was Pierre Curie with the help of his wife Marie Cure who discovered radium.
I find it REPREHENSIBLE that Pierre Curie does not even rate a mention of his name, but is simply called "her husband."
Perhaps you have forgotten, in your politically correct, revisionist history, thought process, that Marie was not originally slated to receive the Nobel Prize in Physics. It required the intervention of Pierre to have her named at all.
So How about a little respect for the man and refer to him by name.
