Since the attack was so senseless, the sentence should have been life without parole so I have to say she got off easy. With good time she could easily shave off years of that 32 year bid. And she wept only for herself, and to me the words spoke to the man's family rang hollow to me, I think she was trying to run the I am so sorry spin for the judge's benefit, and lots of people have horrible childhoods, I being one of them, and I have never harmed anyone in my life, and to me that defense is getting old. Sex offenders use that ploy from the get-go and yesterday I spoke to a friend of mine who works for an agency that helps the disabled find job or programs and she was turned right off from one guy who she claims creeps her out and he is a Level III sex offender having served 11 years prior and when she asked him about those charges, he gave her the bullcrap spin as to why he is so twisted, the doctor had used forceps to deliver him and he became brain damaged, but according to his paper trail, there is no mention of brain damage. These spins, the ones that my Daddy beat me every day and that is why I turned to a life of crime, to I raped that little girl because my uncle raped me, in other words, this is supposed to excuse their behavior and this girl probably did have a bad childhood, but to receive a break on this senseless murder because of that is a travesty of justice.
listen ii know this gurl personally, yes hurting someone is wrong, but i really think she didnt mean it,everyone in life makes mistakes expecially youth, they havent mastered things that they would when they become adultz and she was but a baby when she committed her crime,So please dont be closed minded idiots, what if that were u ????? would if u had the world judging u saying u are a monster & they never knew u as a person??,thats wrong cause their are some innocent inmates locked away in jail.I believe there are monsters in this world but she is NOT one of them, that poor girl is locked away for a long time because she had made a mistake, those drugs definantly can put confusion in ones mind & can make someone do something stupid that they wouldnt of done if sober.Only GOD can judge her so remember that,no one on this earth is a judge ,society places them but they are human Not gods in a high chair sympathy does go out to the family of that victim, and no disrespect but whos to say he wasnt the perpetrator trying 2 prey on young kids??there are alot in this world just as there is alot of mask wearers..Let go of ur hatred cause there is no place for it amongst gods people, gods people learn how to forgive genuinely whe they are wronged

Drugs do not define a person's actions. it is a persons choice what they do to themselves and how they act. Billions of people for millions of years have been taking drugs but do not go around trying to personally harm other people for no reason. This innocent man was walking thinking about his family and how he is going to make his next pay check and then he gets murdered? This world is already terrible as it is, society does not need uncivilized people that have no sense of love and compassion for others. Everybody has a past and we have to respect each other whether we like it or not. I hope Figueroa realizes that.
