Pakistani truckers are refusing to haul vital supplies to NATO and U.S. forces in Afghanistan because of mounting attacks along the main route, a transporters association said Monday.

Why would anyone cooperate with bloodthirsty americans?

Rotten hearted americans will start wars anytime anyplace just for the billions subcontractors make.

Killing women and children is an american specialty...all in the name of freedom of course.

The US military is in love with Al Queda...they know Osama Bin Laden is their source of wealth.

To take it a step further, Bush and bin Laden's families have a long cozy history of doing business together.

9/11 was a very convenient excuse to scare the hell out of the stupid sheep (that they created through their economic and education policies), steal a trillion dollars of our wealth for the "war effort", while slashing the Bill of Rights that has stood for 232 years practically in half.

The ultimate parting shot came this year, with the exportation of two million more jobs, the collapse of the credit market and the theft of ANOTHER trillion dollars of YOUR money.

The global corporate fascists that own the GOP outright and have corrupted the democratic party to the point where it is non-representative of the people, and looking more like republicans every day, while spending two generations dumbing down the average American, makes me think that we had all better think about exercizing our Second Amendment, with the intent with which it was written, as first illustrated in the earlier Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

I can safely say at this point, that this government does NOT rule at the consent of the governed, and does NOT effect our safety and happiness.

And that is true no matter which side of the political spectrum you reside, unless you belong to the elite class of the ultra wealthy.

Americans react much like we did. If in Chu Lai we heard somewhere some FSB in the delta got hit, shitt happens hope everyone is OK. Same same at your end.
Now when there was a full blown assault from north to south, everyone was involved. All had a common goal, stay alive.
The key is to realize there is a viable threat.
So far the American people somehow do not believe there is a great threat by radical islam.
What will it take to wake them up? An EMP above Kansas taking out every damn piece of electronics in the CONUS?

the problem is the message, and the message's delivery boys. A war in Afghanistan, unfinshed towards it's end (the kill or capture of UBL) leading to a war in Iraq based upon the intelligence that was presented has made the public angry. It does'nt MATTER if the threats are real (as they ARE) and the Bush's family ties to Saudi Arabian oil potentantes has left the American people feeling lied to, cheated, adn disenfranchised. Why exactly do you think a Democrat swept the election? People are beginning to think that American ideals have been abandonded for chaos, and chaos cannot defeat an enemy. Only discipline can.

Time and expense will grind the USA's rotten forces into dust in Afghanistan

There is no way the USA will even learn the lesson, much less the war.

If americans could ever see past their pathetic arrogance they might realise they are the greatest terrorist threat the world has ever seen.

Unemployment. chaos and poverty is the future of the USA.

Meanwhile our Pentagon Jackals are spending $450 million a day on a evil war that they will lose.

The USA is a cure far worse than the disease it claims to fight.

No human being anywhere on this planet should ever respect the USA it has evolved into a corrupt dangerous monster spiraling into the hell it deserves

As the US economy collapses in it's own lies and greed it is not going to be boring at all.

I do see what you say, and a lot of Indians do feel the same way - what are we waiting for???
The Indian govts approach, as i try to understand could be on the lines:
1) Terrorism and Pakistan have gone hand in hand for long, with the ISI/army actively supporting terrorist organisations. However the newly elected govt is trying to fix some of the terrorist menace. Waging war with Pakistan would only mean overthrowing the elected govt, and losing whatever little hope Pakistan had.
2) Contrary to popular belief, it is heartening to know that every Pakistani is not a terrorist, or even a supporter of terrorism. Majority of the Pakistanis are also moderates (and not extremists). They do feel that terrorism should be routed out for the nation to progress.
3) Pakistan govt is young, and weak in opposition to the army/ISI. They are fully aware of the existence of terrorists on its soil and the training camps, but are afraid to admit it publicly. This is not a new feature. In the past the Pak army had attacked/invaded India without the government's knowledge. The govt is left to handle the face saving exercise in front of the international community.
4) The recent strikes could be an attempt by ISI/army/terrorists to provoke India so that they can divert their forces out of the Afghan border where NATO forces are behind their blood. If India attacks, Pak will have a good reason to pull out its troops from the NATO action. This will only jeopardize NATO's operation.
5) Despite its past failures and lack of sincerity, it is fair enough to give the Pak govt an opportunity to act against terrorists. If we help the Pak govt, they may be able to stabilize Pakistan's economy and over a period of time control the terrorist activities. Pakistan's evolution as a stronger democracy/economy will only be beneficial to the world - not just India. War can be waged anytime in future...cuz with Nukes they aren't going to be more dangerous than what they are now.
6) As a mature nation, India feels the onus of avoiding a war lies on it. A lot of people in India and Pakistan feel that war is a joke. In reality, none of the two countries haven't fought a large scale war (like WW I and II). They do not know the amount of devastation it causes, generations are wipred off, industry is lost, jobs will be lost, there will be poverty and malnutrition....we may go to where we were 50 or 100 years back. With Nukes, it could get worse. Even the US has not fought a war on its soil - so the war mongering exists.
7) War may not be a one shot solution as it is thought to be. We have seen the US war on terror - in afghanistan and iraq. 7 yrs down, there is no end in sight.

I am not trying to justify the Indian govt's war in-action - just trying to analyze why the govt isnt doing what every tom , dick and harry on the street wants.
