No surprise to me. The American military running away from the taliban and abandoning their posts lol.

And this - the front line of the war on terror. What a joke.

re telegraph:

"The closure was ordered after Gen Stanley McChrystal, the head of Nato forces in Afghanistan, completed a strategy review in which he said Western forces should focus on protecting towns and cities rather than remote outposts."

Remote outposts are susceptible to sudden attacks by the Taliban as they can't quickly be reinforced or relieved.

A good Muslim should always take pride when the terrorists have a victory.

I find it quite interesting that “Pakistan condemns US for abandoning Afghan checkpoints”.

After all Pakistan has supported terrorism since it was created. It supported and help fund the Taliban. When the war started, Pakistan left its borders open for the Taliban to escape and regroup. The Pakistani ISI provided strategic information to the Taliban to help them escape and attack coalition forces. Pakistan has allowed the Taliban unfettered access to there country and allowed them to cross the border at will to attack coalition forces.
Funding given to Pakistan to fight militants was drained off to reinforce their border with India. Pakistan has become the epicenter for international terrorism and its tribal area is now Jihad Central. The US it offering them a huge aid package but they bitch because we expect them to use it to fight extremism.

Most likely Osama bin Laden is enjoying a protected status in Pakistan, yet they have the balls to condemn us.

The problem is the Muslims will not do their own clean up. They never have, they never will.

If we pull out there will just be another uncontroled training ground for international terrorism.

Your ignorance is only surpassed by your lack of knowledge.

During the Soviet occupation, the Taliban didn't exist.

Taliban would take over 'in months' if troops left Afghanistan

The Taliban would control Kabul within months of Nato pulling out of Afghanistan.

A chilling US security report leaked to the Mirror says the country's capital would fall swiftly following a withdrawal. It comes a day after a poll revealed 48% of the public believe victory in Afghanistan is impossible. The Channel 4 poll shows that only 36% believe there will be a victory.

The American report argues that in the event of a total withdrawal, insurgents would re-introduce their cruel version of Sharia law in which men and women could be publicly executed for petty crimes.

Hey Wil,

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one :)

The entire lot of them isn't worth one of our soldiers lives. If muslims don't care about taliban rule, why should we? They aren't a nation, they're a gang of thugs and when they die, they're replaced by new thugs.

The only way for us to win is to pull out, let the taliban wreck havoc on their country and force their pres. to beg for our help, and then we pass it on to the useless UN. But I don't want our valuable men and women putting their lives on the line for some worthless barbarians.

Our troops need a break. So does our budget.

Bank secrecy just like a double edge sword. Middle east and Taliban use it for financing terror in other country

Hey Abu, why don't you be honest for at least a brief moment and tell us all what you like most about Taliban rule?

That was al kida. Taliban are uneducated thugs. Those that carried out 9-11 etc.. were saudi whaheebees and educated.

I say pull out and let nato and un freak out. Beg us for help, and we should charge them if they want our military force. Our soldiers are not worth their spit. Europe and the mid east have more to worry about than we do.

Carry on :)

Al kida? Saudi whaheebees and educated? could you give more information about that..

Is it Al Kida kinda stupid teen age boy that become human bomb?

How bout USA send their troop at very crucial time, like at world war 2? If USA send their troops to early, it mean USA fight for the cause other country. If USA send their troops at the climax time as new third party, when both force exhausted. That time USA for their own interest.

The 9-11 terrorists were all from saudi arabia, except one. They were funded by the whahabis and bin ladden who is not taliban, they just protect him, he thinks he's the base, hence the word al quida. But he's saudi, too.

Taliban are boy bombers...and boy rapists...and women haters, but they have no nation, they're a gang with weapons but no food and no education.

And this might surprise you, but I'm with Obama on this one. The world complained when we stepped in to fight the islamists, they're not to blame us if we opt out. It's time the countries that are most at risk, step up to the plate, and that doesn't include the US. We gain nothing out it.

It's politic! Everybody will fight, if they interest on it. That's already happen like that for thousand years. For example, Wahabis dragging Ottoman down! They don't care Britain will use this chance to seize Ottoman!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Scorpio

Don't let yourself be caught up in a crowd mentality. Just because someone else makes a major production out of what should be a simple matter, doesn't necessarily mean that it has to affect you adversely. You might be able to bring down the volume with a tap on the shoulder and a meaningful look. Even though it might not seem like it, your cool head is definitely appreciated at times like this.
