I was at the scene of this horrific accident and my heart is broken to learn that this young man has died. If anyone reading this knows his family or friends, please let them know that I ran right to him, covered him to keep him warm, and held his hand and rubbed his arm while talking to him and asking him to please stay with me. He was not alone and I stayed with him until the first responders arrived. My heart goes out to all the lives he touched. He and his friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

This intersection is horrible for accidents. I just graduated from Horizon and when ever we would hear sirens in the morning, everyone's first thought was "who got run over this time."

this is horrible. People need to slow down and keep focused on the road.

This young man was only 20 years old and had a lot of friends, including my son. My prayers go out to his friends and family as they go thru this horrible time.

I cannot believe you would say something like this. He was my friend and coworker. What kind of person takes the time to go online and bitchh about a young man that got into An accident because she's fkn late getting home. Fkn pathetic. Who the hell do you think you are. Fuckk you. Have some sympathy and if you lack the small bit of sincerity in your heart then don't offend us and put your snarky fkn comments online cuz you're running late on the count of someone being killed.
I totally agree. Mike was my friend and one of the best people I have ever know. What kind of a bitch would post something like that!? Obviously you have no heart and I feel sorry for your friends....if you even have any. Like you had nothing better to do than talk ill of the dead!! How dare you.

wow, I came here to read a story about a young man who was a friend of my dear friends son. My heart is so saddened by the hateful comments left. you two should take time to stop and pray for this family. You should take time to pray that something so horrific does not happen to someone you love, pray that it doesn't happen to you. You should both be ashamed at your thoughtless, heartless behavior. I am sure that someday you will look back and realize just how sick and twisted your sad little minds were working. perhaps it isn't so Christian of me to "bite back" but I believe my God, God in heaven above, would stand up for this young man .....to the family of Mike, please know i will be praying for comfort to guide you through this difficult journey ahead. I will pray that with each day the beautiful memories of your son, brother and friend start to outshine the grief that rests within your heart. Know in your aching hearts, that when someone whos life has not been touched by such unspeakable pain, leaves something so mindless and painful within these comments, that they simply and obviously are lost within themselves. Your family and friends will remain so very close in my thoughts and prayers. Mike~ as you watch over your family, guide them to the place in life where they will once again find happiness within memories of you~ much love & many prayers from Littleton Colorado~
