Yes, I saw it all. I work in a hospital, anxious to check with the docs there about it tomorrow. We see quite a bit of PTSD but I'm in the legal part of it, not medical. My favorite fellow is a Pathologist - he's the medical expert in my family :)

Interesting.
My brother (then age 39-)was a Firefighter on one of the Urban Search & Rescue Teams that went to Oklahoma in '95, immediately after the bombing. They were supposed to be on a "rescue" mission, but when they got there, all the could do was recover... OM, so sad what he saw, experienced. My gf's husband was on the same team w/him. Familys of Firefighters were offered a chance to attend a "de-briefing", so we could know how to help them when they came home. We were told he could be "fine" for days or years, and then have nightmares or other things come up. When the Twin Towers were hit 2001, he said he had the smells of Oklahoma come back, as though he was right there. That was 6 years later.

You know they can't introduce anything 5 minutes before trial that hasn't been examined by opposing counsel already:) It's hard to do homework when you're already in the courtroom when you receive it. And it's hard to believe, if you were LEO, that you haven't been in court enough to know about discovery rules.
I hope this forum doesn't stoop down to physical characteristics like the others do. I'm so tired of hearing about fatty Nurmi, bald spot Wilmott and little Juan. We're too old for those outbursts, I think.
Wait a minute typist court reporter. Discovery does not go to every conceivable theory uttered by an expert, particulalry in that the prosecution had been supplied more than adequate discovery material as to the subject matter this doc would be tesifying to, ie, mental conditions effecting JA's state of mind in connection with this entire event. You have said a lot of stupid shat on this forum. I have been overly kind with you, but you are not even in my leaque to take me on re procedural matters. Martinez has his experts in the wings, already has gone over conceivalbe scenarious .. he will have plenty of time this evening to consult and catch up with the subtletees of transient amnesia. Now I have a few more thing I could tell you about what I have picked up in your posts regarding you and your families backgorund. Just depends if I feel like doing it latet on.

I wouldn't rely on it to heavily for education, Good Day. This doctor hasn't seen patients for awhile, only did so in NJ and after his ethics fiasco he moved and has only worked for state and private attorneys in evaluations. He advertises "An extensive evaluation of the respondent, in depth case analysis and research contributes to a succinct report which often will result in a more favorable outcome for your client." Buy me!!
In other words, he's an expert legal whore and I'd assume the State will attempt to discredit him based on his Medical Board civil proceeding.

Interesting reading Mayo Clinic's take on TGA. They say, in direct opposition to the distinguished doc's testimony, that the risk is greater in people over 50 (he said in people in their 20's and 30's - Jodi!!).
They say:
"Fortunately, transient global amnesia is rare, seemingly harmless and unlikely to happen again. Episodes are usually short-lived, and afterward your memory is fine."
Since she's 30 and it's short-lived, wouldn't she be over it and her memory be fine, five years later?
Funny how Samuels' answers to such questions are a definitive no. Given Samuels' background of unethical behavior, it makes me question a lot of his testimony. "Expertise because he is a doctor," stated by Wilomet (sp?). That cracks me up! Samuels is only human and can be prone to make mistakes (like barter for personal services with a client).

I am new to this thread, but I have been watching this trial from the beginning. Craziest trial I have seen, and I am worried that after this trial, people will use it as an example to work off of with further cases.
This is history in the making, just like Casey Anthony.
Nothing new here at all .. crime of passion involving lovers, happens in ghettos and elsewhere on a regular basis accross our country. Standard defense if the female has some proof that she has been suffered a pattern of abuse.

This has nothing to do with Cassey Anthony.

Last night I was watching a program talking about the case. Some guy verbally went through begining to end the scenario of the scene that JA claims happened. We know that it was 62 seconds from the last picture we see travis alive until we see a picture of his bloody body on the ground. 62 seconds.

A man on the show went through what Jodi claimed took place verbally from begining to end, and it was said pretty fast. It took him 43 seconds just to say it!! 43 Seconds! And this was just done verbally and he left out a couple steps. This could NOT be done in 62 seconds the way she said it. She knew right where both the gun and the knife was because it was premeditated. Girl give that gun back to your grandpa and just plead guilty already!!

I'm satisfied w/the Dr.'s physiology lesson.
The rest of it made sense to me as well. Just based on what my brother experienced and his friends from various events...
