I've been watching but not all of it. I have to youtube the videos that are uploaded by trial watchers because I am working during the day when it's on. I just doubt what Daryl was saying because I know she didn't make much money so I'm not sure how she could have contributed very much. She worked as a waitress across the street from me when she lived with him and got fired and was jobless for a while after that and did nothing. It sounds to me like he still has feelings for her and wanted to paint her in the best light possible.
why did she get fired?

He deserved something for his treatment of her but it was not to be killed? WTF is wrong with you two....seriously???? So, just what do you think he did deserve then? You sound like a couple of scorned people yourselves. Do you have bitter feelings towards lovers who done you wrong and now you want revenge? It must suck being the person on the bottom in a relationship but if you don't like it, get on top! He was allowed to treat her any way he wanted. It was her choice to stay with him so he didn't "deserve" anything! I also have no pity....yes i said NO pity for women who really are abused (dont believe Jodi really was though). LA Guy, you know we differ on our opinion of that :) I mentioned earlier that I do a lot of charity work and donate money. But, I hate it when I get asked to donate money to abused women. Sick children, abused animals, victims of natural disasters...absolutely! But I'm not giving my money to some dumb chick with low self esteem because she CHOOSES to stay with a guy who abuses her because she just cant leave him, or worse....she loves him! If you think someone is an asshole and you stay with them, then that pretty much makes you the asshole! He treated her like the pathetic cling-on that she was and she LET him! Let's see, she worked as a waitress across the street from me and was horrible at that job! What other jobs did she have besides trying to sell PPL which usually sweet talks the weak into working for them anyway. Her personality repelled people and she was a HS dropout. When you're over 30 and have nothing going for you but a cute body and the ability to give a good blow job and let guys put it in the back (3 hole wonder) you better get used to guys treating you just like what you are! And it's not their fault, it's yours!
Elize, I have three kids, two girls and one boy. One girl is very gentle and soft. The other girl is tough and argumentative. The tough one will wrestle with her brother. I find the argumentative one a lot of work. The gentle one reminds me of myself. However, when you are gentle natured people tend to walk all over you. You have to learn to stand up for yourself. Depending on life circumstances that may take some people longer than others.
I am not sure that everyone will agree with your assessment that her personality repulsed people. Whilst dynamic people can be fun to be around they can wear you out. Sometimes a quieter person is easier to live with. Jodi was able to maintain a 4 year relationship. What did travis maintain? he had a revolving door of housemates.

Just catching a few minutes In Live court session, 10Am PST..Martinez has Travis ex gf (lame blonde) on cross. He is leading the witness and giving testimony himnself LOL..convoluted statements in gthe guise of questioins...what is with all of his hand gestures and moving around like a kid needing his ritalin dose..this guy has to be alienating the jury..now, he is asking her if she feels that it was appropriate for Jody to have slashed his throat..LOL, what does he expect her to say..now asking her if Travis had discussed his Virginity with her...this Judge, is not controlling her courtroom
The best girl Travis had was Jody, of course all in context to this tragedy never occuring. I could have been his mentor in the real LA world...LOL
Now Jody's attorney has her on cross redirect...although she is a much better Atty than Martinez, she is also getting real lame with her line of questions...all that is needed is a few concise to the point questions...both attorneys must be boring the hell out of this jury..juries are going to ask quetions again, wtf is this circus
OK, off to my office.
I've read your posts and I think Jodi was probably fishing in too small a pond.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't say her personality repelled people because she was shy and quiet. I know plenty of people who are shy and quiet, and also those who are loud and outgoing, but they are nice, good hearted, decent people. I'm talking about things I've heard from people who personally knew her. They all said she was socially inappropriate, and most people did not like her. She was just weird and people tended to avoid spending time with her because it was awkward. Travis may have not maintained personal relationships well, but he also didn't slash someone's throat in reaction to their behavior.

Good point as to Jody maintaining a four year relationship. Although Travis was 30, and kept up the facade of having it together, he did not know Himself as a man. The Prep-Paid Legal scheme and his Mormon support group did not bode well for him as to self developement. Reminds me of a youngman who rejects the girl who really turns him on to marry a girl who his mother (or social status) approves of. JFK Jr, comes to mind. If he had stayed with Actress Daryl Hannah (Hot Hollywood Girl) and not married his society wife, he would be alive today. Jackie O did not approve of the actress. Forget her name, but she ran him around by his nose. Her family even sued the Kennedy's after the fatal crash (and collected several Mil).

Travis GF who testified (blonde Mormon gril), was lame beyond belief, and it had nothing to do with her Religous upbringing. This was a girl who he talked to about marriage. The Mormon's do have some good teachings though, will keep young people safe and healthy.

No doubt about the smaller pond. She apparently felt comfortable with this crowd. In an ironic sense, she was safer there as a youngwomen, than in the big shark pond of LA or NYC. The desert (greater Palm Springs) is a healthy place to reside in, unless one is Gay.

Other females (co workers) jealous of her.

Palm Spings if full of JP's and Yentas who are famous for giving waitresses a very hard time, and love to complain to management...Lucky for Jody that she was not dating one of their sons..LOL, yes I'm laughing out loud at my own jokes...hey I'm going out to beakfast right now, wish a Jody was waiting on me

I think she was out of her league in that restaurant. The clientele was a bit older but most of the servers were pretty good looking so I don't think it was jealousy. I've been over there many times for drinks and socializing and those girls were amazing. Full of life and personality and they kicked ass on a busy night. Since it was an upscale restaurant I believe it was because she served like she worked at a Denny's rather than a Mastro's!

Ok, I give up.....what's a JP? Damn, my quiz skills are off today!

I'm wondering how her "waitressing skills" are relevant to the trial. What really counts right now is what is said by the witnesses in the courtroom, anything outside of that is nothing more than innuendos and speculation.

I have heard a lot of things that paint Jodi in very bad light from Travis' friends but none of this has been corroborated. Do you remember the story about the "doggy door"? It was a fabrication.

her waitressing skills aren't relevant to the trial. I was answering a question about why she was fired from her job! It pertained to an earlier post about her relationship with Brewer which is relevant to the trial. And my info comes straight from people who knew both of them personally. Don't try to dictate what we can and cant talk about in here! We even discuss golf sometimes!

Oh, Please! I cannot dictate what you want to discuss, I was stating my opinion on what you've posted. This is an open forum.

Her relationship with Brewer is relevant to the case because Jodi was involved with him when she met Travis. When Brewer testified, he was questioned about how he met her, their relationship, Jodi's job with Pre-Paid Legal Services, her conversion to Mormonism, how it affected their relationship, and what was reason why they broke up.

Just back home, and we all know what is on the news. Jody is holding her own on the stand. Of course the whore media, Nancy and Drew, with their narcissistic experts (mostly women) are all claiming she has failed.

Big mouth Nancy, the so called legal eagle, had no clue that Jody was ready to take the stand.

Dr Drew is interviewing one of Travis' buddy's who made up the underwear(panties) and T-
Shirt claiming her as TA's property. He said it was just a joke.

Jody is very well spoken and has depth, regardless of what one may think of her.

Are you seeing this case as a Manslaughter. No need to repeat the elements of First Degree or the chronology of events.

Hi Elise

Were your surprised she took the stand?

How do you feel about Nancy Grace and/or Dr Drew's coverage of this matter? I have lost respect for both of them.

PVE? As in PV Estates. I was just in Hollywood Riviera today. Great Japanese restaurant just opened there.

It is not that simple....

I think she should have been charged with second degree murder, with manslaughter as a lesser included offense.

I haven't seen yet evidence that shows the murder of Travis Alexander was premeditated.

The evidence about premeditation is highly circumstantial. The prosecutor has claimed that Jodi dyed her hair brown because she didn't want to be recognized, today an expert witness for the defense showed the jury pictures where Jodi appears with brown hair, they were taken prior to the murder. The issue about the gas cans is highly debatable. The gas cans, in my opinion, is a non issue, Jodi made a 2.800 miles road trip, and she told Darryl Brewer that she was going to Arizona.

"On the day she picked up the gas cans she told Brewer that she was going to visit friends in California and Arizona." (abcNews).

Ive been avoiding Nancy and Drew. What really annoys me is that they repeat the same phrases and use the same adjectives over and over again! And sometimes they say things that aren't even close to true! I was surprised even thiugh they have bewn hinting about it. I Didnt expect it this soon. I'm looking forward to cross examination!

I was in PVE on Sat. I live in the desert now but my sister and friend still live there. There's nothing better than sushi at the beach. Im jealous! It wasn't an option for me this weekend...sis won't eat it and my friend is a fully practicing vegan PETA member! Lol. Oh well, can't have it all I guess :)

At the end off the day, she is a proven liar. Anyone that believes anything she says at this point needs to have their head examined.
