People wonder why the children of today are shooting and killing each other. Its because of the many drugs being pushed in and through our city each day. today was a great day for Philadelphia

jeez, well atleast that stuff wont make it to street level dealing. its nice to think the lives that could have been lost over the sale of those drugs was prevented. sometimes people need to give the philadelphia police more credit for the job they do everyday, i sure do.

This is a huge bust for the city and they're not making a huge deal about it? Why is this being swept under the rug? I live 4 blocks from these people and this is the first i've heard of this. I know there are drugs in this city, but 600 pounds of coke a few blocks away from my family....absolute insanity. Might be time to move.

It is election time and the philadelphia police on a traffic stop got a warrant. This is not street drugs or it would be crack cocaine; these drugs are for high dollar political people unless there was a lab to make crack at the house. The cash was my guess storage costs.

I still can't get over a mayor named Nutter.

Is this a new trend toward truth in advertising?

I think the Philadelphia Police are doing an incredible job. We all need to give them some more credit than we do. Great job PPD and Mayor Nutter! New day and a new way.

Now, what to do with all that pricey cocaine. What crooked police officer(s) will get it out on the streets anyway? I know for certain this happens. Wish we could see on the newscasts the actual burning of the stuff. I really don't think they will just burn 28 mil. Do you?

in atlanta they made a bunch of major cocaine busts and what happened: more robberies, more murders. that's what the head of the drug task force said. i'm more scared than ever.

In connection to the McKendrick drug bust, This also happened but was not reported.

Maria Staten and her live in boyfriend were arrested late Thursday evening when police charged into their house after they had used a battery ram to the front door. Both lived at 1527 S. Dover Street, in the Grays Ferry section fo the city. According to neighbors and the owner, Staten and boyfriend are charged with with related drugs charges and holding dog fighting events in the house.

The next day, evidence of kept fighting dogs in the house with chewed doors, floors and blood soaked carpets in the upstairs bedroom was found by police and the owners of the home. The owner of the home secured the home upon learning the the incident and will be cleaning up the mess on Saturday.

Last month the owner filed court paper to evict and get back possession of the home in Tenant-Landlord Court for several months of non payment of rent and other serious violations to the lease agreement.

Maria Staten lived and moved to Philadelphia from Patterson New Jersey this past November.
According to the owner she is expected to be held by authorities and won't be released no sooner than this Tuesday. Neighbors and police told the owner that the premises had been under surveillance for sometime by police.
----------
Check it out. It would help make the neighbors feel a little safer, and shows that the police department is doing something.

Be quiet you ignorant uman being! America isn't targeting no one. I agree with you that the goverment maybe behind the drugs operation due to they bust the drugs and resell is like SJ MOM said. But black people put themselves in their position. Look at the all the beatings these little black kids are doing for no apparent reason. Then they complain about they getitng punished too harse like the jena6 or whatever they are! So please think both sides of the panel before saying someone is targeting a certain race, you idiot!

"We are on the trail of the supplier." B.S. the supplier is the C.I.A. our own government.
Why is it that 100% of mainstream music promotes the sale of HARD DRUGS. Why? Has anyone figured out that this is our government's biggest business, selling cocaine? And our government promotes it, through music???
Bringing this one bust to light is just to deter people from thinking that we aren't battling cocaine... its to deter people from thinking that our government is involved.
In reality, our government hates black people. Somehow black folks always get the short end of the stick. In America over 90% of black smokers smoke Newports, due in part to targeted advertising in the 80's and 90's. Newports are the deadliest cigarette on the planet; the only cigarette that has FIBERGLASS in it. Crack penalties are FAR MORE SEVERE than cocaine penalties. Why? Because crack is for blacks... Local police strategy is to target crack dealers vs coke dealers because it inherently DESTROYS BLACK AMERICA. when one black guy goes to jail for selling crack, another one takes over. and so on and so forth. its ruining an entire demographic: Black Americans.
Also, what's a young black kid's role model in this day and age? The rappers who are on TV all day chanting about selling hard drugs. When in reality, probably 1 in 300,000 black kids will actually live out that dream.
Music was never, ever like this back the early 90's. Sure, there was drug references, but NOW its just a mindf*ck. Its so apparent. Even these stupid ringtone commercials are ALL ABOUT SELLING HARD DRUGS. This is how our government promotes such deadliness... through the music and radio. And who, you ask, watches music videos and listens to the radio? KIDS!!!!
So anyway, the D.E.A focuses 70% of its abilities on fighting marijuana. Their excuse? "Marijuana is the most widely used illicit drug." Truthfully, marijuana is targeted because its grown by PEOPLE. Our government doesn't want to cut the legs off its own table... so our government rarely targets heroin and coke. For every one coke bust that is reported in the news, there are 20 weed busts that are never reported.
And in the end, we see Black America deteriorating, and we ask ourselves, "Why?" well, if you ask me, the answer is QUITE OBVIOUS. Anyone who disputes this, just brush up on some history lessons. the C.I.A. has been dealing drugs (specifically cocaine) for a very long time!! look it up. There are currently ZERO RAPPERS who talk about how they made it big from the WEED TRADE. it seems to be all DOPE BOYS and WHITEY WHITE!!
PAY ATTENTION, if you think i'm wrong. Watch TV... look at how it influences our youth. Just Look!
