Tow Truck companies are thieves anyway. Leave something remotely valuable in your car and it is gone.

it looks to me like the opposite may be true, where smaller companies will get more traffic/business. i am not saying i approve of socialism in a free market economy but i might feel differently if i owned a small towing company.

i think there should be a rotation.i know its unfair for the smaller companies, but if you have a good working team it should work out well.i myself have a tow company and i think with us doing rotation is a good thing.

it could work out for them (the smaller companies). if you have 2 or 3 trucks and the bigger company has like 9, they can be more spread out than you can.

There are 2 Towing Companies that have changed the way thing's are done in the City Of Philadelphia. I had 2 accident's in Center City both not my fault 1 car totalled and the other car was repaired at a Bandit wreckchaser shop,my first totalled car was towed by Select Towing who charged my Ins. Co.$1425.00 for 3 week's of storage a bill I am now disputing with my ins co. because they say they were overcharged. My second accident was again Towed by the same Co. by a guy named Dave (owner)this time he took my car to South Philly to his Body Shop called Empire Collision and for the second time I was screwed again. This time the repair was horrible and my car had to go to the dealer from his shop and get totally repaired over again. Be aware this Company mite be one of the Rotational Guy's who pick's up your car in the city. God Help Us Drivers !!

You are very un-educated,learn how to spell first before you try to post, you are a thief without a gun.Your Company Center City Towing and Select Towing, the Owner's should be put in Jail,You'll see jail time for what you have done to the city consumers!

$1425.00 for 13 days of storage and towing sounds cheap to me.

Just some corrupt politicians in philadelphia who sling contracts out of bid and to their cronies and then charge taxpayers for their time spent on their couches and with the secretary/girlfriends who are also charging the city for their time.

Is there really a list, and how come nobody is wondering how PPA is taking over everything.SELECT your own tow company not one of Rizzo's friends.

There is a list and the Phila.PD. Monitors it,however who's to say when you'll get called. Our Co.has not recieved one call yet,and most likely will not get a call. This will show that this is an unfair practice and The Tow Companies of Philadelphia should and will file a class action suit against the City for unfair practice. Rizzo did what he could to get this passed for his buddies in the Junk Yard's! One guy(Ed Alfano) with a Bodyshop and X-Highway Patrol Cop's running operations and Gianna's Towing who is partnered with Ed Alfano.
