well i've had eczema since i was around 6 months. its usually just been on my inner elbow part of the arm, whatever that part is called, but over the years it seems to have gotten worse.. im almost 17 now, and still have it, this summer's been the worst. it is now on my inner arms at the joint, on my wrists, under side of my knees, my neck, sometimes on my eyelid, and the worst- on my chest.. extremely red there, and itchy.. its funny too because it seems symetrical, i have it on one wrist, and its on the other in the same place, etc..
also as ive gotten older, ive become more and more self conscious about it.. i dont even want to go swimming or wear a girls t-shirt cause its cut low and i dont want people seeing my eczema.. i dont know what to do.. im sitting here this evening, trying to search for natural home cures, and am extremely frusterated to the point that tears are in my eyes and im about ready to cry... if anyone has any suggestions, would you please email me at, [email protected]
im anciously awaiting anyones helpful tips!!
thank you!!

Cortizone is a mild form of a steroid; but use of such product is only recommended depending on the cause of your condition.. Have you been to a doctor or derm to determine the cause of your eczema?

hey, well i did some more research with natural stuff.. um, drinking tomatoe juice is supposedly good. but i started taking vitamin E and Zinc, they seem to work quite well. also finelly ground nutmeg with water, make into a paste is good, just apply it to effected areas.. also UDO's OIL, it tastes duisgusting, so get the gells.. ok.. im gonna keep trying things, you tell me if you find anything else out!

I've had eczema since I spent my military stint going from hot to cold to hot climates and Iíve used a variety of prescription creams and stuff. No one has ever given me a healthy substitute. I hope you have great results since I do believe the natural way is the best. I donít know about Tomato juice though, the acidic content seems to be a negative. I would think a vegetable juice of the V8 type would be better since it has multiple sources. Good luck
and please post if you have found a remedy. BTW ignore the moron(s) with the negative comments, it only occupies valuable time and space, although I like your comebacks!

You might want to try looking at your diet. I notice that when I increase my intake of healthy fats (flax seed, omega-3) my symptoms seem to get better...

Take unesterified mixed toccopherols vitamin E. You can get one called UNIQUE E, they sell it at the vitamin shop or on line. You should also take Omega 3 at least twice a day. I had atopic eczema in my neck and besides the cortizome cream the doctor gave me I had no choice but to take something natural as well and it did work for me.
Also go on line and search for exzema natural remedies or exzema home remedies and you will find a lot of good information.

Apply some witch hazel solution gently with a clean washcloth or I suppose cotton. It comes in a bottle like alcohol and is about a dollar or so a bottle at discounts like Family Dollar store.

Mangosteen juice and Udo's oil have helped me significantly!! Both are natural. I had eczema as a child and then again since my teenage years (I'm now 31).
