My heart goes out to this family. I have a son the same age, living in south philly. I worry all of the time, yet who wants to live with worry. Life is to be enjoyed. How much patrolling does the city need? I say do whatever it takes, bring in the National Guard if needed. Tourism will decline for sure, and no amount of advertising will help. That money would be better spent to protect the streets.

What a handsome young man and what a tragedy......one known all too well in the city. I know it's too late to say this but maybe it wasn't a great idea to hang out in that area at that time of night. I pray for a quick recovery and that the family stays strong.

So for all you racists, you should also be afraid of your own people. Serial killers are more commonly white, that is true. But look at the difference - serial killers are typically abused/neglected as children, or somehow psychologically deranged and that is what causes them to kill. Black people kill for no reason. They know what they are doing is wrong, and they don't care. Rather than working for their money like the rest of us, they think they can steal it. And don't get me wrong, I am aware that there are decent hard working black people in America. Some. But to turn on the news every night and see all these animals shooting people in this city...it's ridiculous. What they need to do is enforce harsher punishment for crimes, so these thugs who have been arrested so many times actually rot in jail where they belong.

An Asian women just killed and cut the baby out of a women, I guess being Asian made her do that. It's society not race. My thoughts and prayers got to the young man and his family. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
