I'm very happy they're filming here. It's a great opportunity for the Lehigh Valley to get some positive attention, and while the film crew is in town, you can bet they'll be spending money. What's to complain about??

An increase in film industry interest in the Lehigh Valley should turn out to be a major win-win for the communities affected. It's a relatively clean industry, they tend to spend money like drunken sailors on a whole host of things - and services.
Ultimately, if the Valley becomes a 'little Hollywood' type of destination, all sorts of economic opportunities could open up for our residents. Those of you out there complaining about this news, or using it as an excuse to spew racial or ethnic poison - grow up.

This is EXACTLY what happened when they filmed Kindergarten Cop! Those fat cat jerks that run the film industry wanted CHILDREN... KINDERGARTEN AGE CHILDREN!! Can you believe that?? This is exciting. The fact that they're shooting the sequel to a mega blockbuster like Transformers right here in Bethlehem is great news. Having seen other Michael Bay films, I know he's not the smearing kind. So, if the film company, and crew, have a positive experience here, you can bet the farm that they'll come back. I rather have them shooting here and stimulate our economy, than having them go to Canada or Australia. I agree that it's a bummer that they're only looking for Asians. But, if that's what the act, or section of the movie, calls for, then that's what they need. They're still welcomed to come.

Well, I guess I'll be going to the theaters to watch Transformers 2 when it comes out.

Oh, and no Asians were harmed in the making of these comments.
