This was total false advetizment. I was there at this event, and it was not what they have posted all over the news. There were no mini massages or facials, there were no red carpets or expensive cars! Nothing much about Fashion frenzey TV and to top it off it seemd like it was just advertisements for Vodka, Sambuka, and fitness water. Gift bags, PLEASE, nothing was handed out to the "first 100" they were given out at random and there were more advertisments in them! TOTAL HOAX!

The advertisements were not false at all. Everything that was advertised were actually supposed to happen. In fact, the cars were confirmed to have been there and agreed upon for at least 2 months prior to the event. 5 days before the event, Saks Fifth Avenue decides to renig on a verbal agreement that was made to have cars from F.C Kerbeck displayed in front of Saks. As you can imagine, FC kerbeck wasnt very pleased and Fashion Frenzey TV wasnt either. reps from F.C Kerbeck even met with Saks personally to discuss where the cars would be stationed during the event. So you can only imagine the shock from F.C. Kerbeck when they had to be told that there coudlnt be any vehicles 1 week before the event. But it was beyond FFTV s control because Saks had the upper hand and it is their venue. Mini messages were also agreed to by Saks as well as red carpet. But 5 days before the event an email was recieved by Saks Fifth Avenue stating that there was not be any red carpet or anything of the sort. Fashion Frenzey TV was ultimately put in a corner to make a decision to either change the date or venue. But because it was already advertised, it was decided to proceed. Saks Fifth Avenue even decided to not put out anymore glassware in the middle of the event and shut down the bars early in order to end the party earlier than expected. Management even stated that the event was "out of control". But everyone knows that what they really meant was that there were more than 5 African Americans there; which meant that it was out of control in their eyes. That evening. there was approx 420 beautifully dresses, intellectaul business owners there enjoying themselves. It was the who's who of Philadelphia. You can check out photos on www.digphilly.com .
I have to say, I am totally hurt and disappointed with the way Saks Fifth Avenue treated the guests at the Fashion Frenzey TV Global launch Tour. Saks let many down in a major way. Many guests felt there were some racist issues that came up during the event, racial comments, racist inuendos, and just total disappointment. Saks Fifth Avenue has put a bad taste in msny mouths that evening and i dont think i will ever walk in the Saks Fifth Avenue located in Bala Cynwyd ever again. No wonder the word has spread that they arent doing very well and that location maybe shutting down. i now know why. It seems to me that it is not only a result of decreased sales but it is also a result of how they treat their potential customers. How dare they mistreat those guests that evening, it was a beautiful diverse crowd of African Americans, Caucasians, Asians and Latinos. Ssks Fifth Avenue Management, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves and you owe Fashion Frenzey TV an apology. |

The event on May 14th to celebrate the Laucnhof Fahsion Frenzey TV.com was absolutely beautiful. It was a great mix of beautiful people consisting of every ethnicity that you can imagine . Men were in suits, women were dressed elegantly but still the guests were treated like low class citizens by Saks Fifth Avenue. It was noted by many that Saks didnt give a warm welcome because it was a few more Aftican Americans than expected. Fashion Frenzey TV was very successful in bringing out a beautful, fashionable crowd; in fact many said that they've never been to an event in Philly so beautiful. Unfortunately, Saks Fifth Avenue appeared to not think so. I personally will never walk in that location of Saks Fifth Avenue again! Managament of Saks even called the crowd unruly and out of control. Mind you., this is a crowd filled with some of the top proffessionals in the city. They even had the legendary Teddy Pendergrass do an opening speech. I suppose in Saks Fifth Avenue's eyes; he was still black. What a beautful crowd Fashion Frenzey TV brought out that evening. Maybe they should take the next event to Neiman Marcus , im sure the guests will be treated much better.

I have to tell you after reading about the comments about Saks I am amazed that someone actually thougth it was about race. I am a latin american and I was there and thought it was horrible! Nothing to do with racism, I am appaled that you would think it was that. It was just false advertisement!
