Two things, physical or mental. If you wake up with a hard on sometimes it's not physical. Everyman has them during the night. One trick is to put a bandaid around it when you go to bed. During the night as you get an erection it will wake you.

If it's intimacy first thing off the bat stop watching any porno and no masturbating I mean zero. As your sexual frustration builds up you will do fine with your partner.

it hurt more than i was told and my sex drive

died with the sperm...plus plus plus,,,i just say

dont let anyone get near your private parts with a

knife or scissors

it started to affect me immediately and that was a

long time ago..dont do it,,i wish to this day i could

have some more kids,,my marriage failed over that

and it was her idea...go figure,,someone hideing in

the closet or under the bed,,no idea,,,

it ruined my sex drive,,i may be a stat to doctors

but i know it ruined what once was a healthy sex

drive.. its a fact they dont mention..1 out of a

million r still bad odds,,i happened to be that 1

man out of the million...

i sure would never say it in public but its a fact

are you absolutely certain it was the operation that affected your sex drive and not other disease or condition? maybe the doctor hit a nerve accidentally (if the doctor was really inefficient, drunk at the time of operation or blind) or you have an infection of some kind. maybe you should have it checked again?
