Thanks for this history lesson, Jack. It was fascinating reading!

When I was a kid we went out to Pelayo's Farm for the best peaches I've ever had to this day! And he was a kind man to boot.

The U.S. sold it's scrap metal to the Jappanies
before the war started. That is what i was told when i was young.

Clark Field of December 8, 1941 is a reminder to the new generations and those that are to come that a landgrabber can be deposed by another landgrabber!!! In a one-on-one fight, America lost to the dwarfs!!!
It is also a reminder that landgrabbers could make themselves as allies too in subjecting the world under "spheres of influence"!!! They can all walk and talk like ducks!!! They can all lie and deceive like ducks!!!

The B-17s and P-40s that were launched from Clark Base that Decemeber 8, 1941 and which never did a bombing attack on Formosa, although the island is within range, reminds me of my father's stories that Americans would always look at the other way whenever they noticed and smelled Japanese excreta and urine!!!
That no war was declared is no excuse!!! A soldier is a soldier!!! Sleeping, cowardice, and dereliction to duty are no excuses!!!

Observent,
This is but one of the favorite excuses of the Americans!!! The defeat was embarrassing and that's why excuses had to be concocted!!! Proof??? After the Second World War, the U.S.A. never had a single victory in wars except Grenada!!! But it was only a brush fight and there is nothing to be proud about it!!!

I agree. The cullings by the Japanese and Germans should have been allowed to progress naturally without interference.

Luis,
The Americans left without cleaning up the bases from toxic chemicals!!! What they did is like using the commodes and the urinals without flushing it at least!!! But what can you expect from the uncivilized landgrabbers!!! You can never expect civility from the pagan West even if they label themselves as Protestants!!!
Protestantism does not equate to civility but is more akin to divorce, multiple wives, homosexuality, bestiality, necrophilia, and sexual tourism!!!

Xui,
I am not in agreement with the atrocities committed by the Germans and Japanese during the Second World War!!! Germany had committed genocide in Europe while Japan did the same in China!!! But America too prior to the subject war had committed genocide on the Filipinos!!!
What I don't like and is opposing here is the intent to deceive and lie to the Filipinos and to the world!!! Americans are fond of advertising that they did this good and that good things in the Philippines!!! This is a falsity!!! America had done heinous crimes to the Filipinos and the world has to know!!! This should not be hidden!!!

Crystal,
These guys have probably noticed that the attitude of the Filipinos are no longer the same!!! They probably have noticed that their crimes which were hidden through more than a century are now known to the Filipinos!!! And that is why they are resorting to a propaganda blitz!!! NO MORE OF THE SEXUAL TOURISTS AND LANDGRABBERS!!!

Elias Ibarra, if that is your real name, you seem to be really off on tangents with your rants. You're turning someone's words often to suit you in distorting your perception of "facts". You're not only proving yourself to be ignorant, but worse is that you're proving yourself to be very rude with your off the wall allegations. Your comment #12 is by far the worse.

If you're so idiotic to misconstrue the fact that the coveralls were half zipped as an indicator that they were caught off guard & probably wakened from a sleep, but then to spin it to your perverse interpretation. Seriously, you seem to have a some real issues, and one of them is your obsession with "homosexuality". Why is that? Are you in the closet? Or are you just obsessed with the lifestyle? Your anti-American sentiment is made very clear, so why don't you find an appropriate forum to vent it, as this isn't it.

The problem with your mentality is that if we forget history & fail to learn from it, the same mistakes occur. Look at the genocide of the Native Americans. Further proof of it is the fact that many people are now dismissive of the Holocaust and the fact that massive genocide occurred. To refuse to speak about it or teach that it occurred because it's too gruesome. As a result, people find it easy to carry out again: Cambodia, Rwanda, Darfur, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq (of the Kurds), etc.

I realize that reality doesn't set well with you and your utopian views; however, if it weren't for realist who serve to protect your country, you wouldn't have that luxury of apathy and ignorance, since it seems to be a luxury for you to live in denial.

My ex brother inlaw was there in the Formosa shores that time.
So we did help out. The ships big guns were going off day and night, as he slept under the gun to be there for next shift.
Our planes were shuved off the ship if they did not operate right.
And just got in the way of the next plane taking off. So it did help. And was very costly.
