Maguindanao tops them all. This is where the Administration got 100% votes for senators and 0 for the opposition.

FROM THE STORY:

Comelec Commissioner Rene Sarmiento added that the 43,000-plus multiple registrants were found in areas of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and Region IV-A or Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon province).

"Comelec Commissioner Rene Sarmiento said that through the taking of each voter’s biometrics and through the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), Comelec was able to discover these so-called flying voters."

TAKE NOTE OF THIS:

“To think that the 43,000 flying voters came only from four regions, this means that there will be more that will be uncovered by the ITD,” Sarmiento said in Filipino.

So, we are a nation of cheaters? Signs of the times.

Two days after the automated elections in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, the Commission on Elections announced the victory of Zaldy Ampatuan as Governor and Ansaruddin-Abdul Malik Alonto Adiong as Vice Governor.

Both are reelectionists into their second term, belonging to the administration party Lakas-CMD.

This may come as no surprise -- in the past two national elections, the ARMM has been the administration’s bailiwick.

President Gloria Arroyo and her allies won in the 2004 and 2007 elections in four ARMM provinces: Sulu, Basilan, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao.

It may be true that we are a nation of cheaters, but more so a nation of enablers. We are behind the curve in growing a national conscience. Most of us watch others to fight for our rights and walk away from our responsibilities. We too are as fractured as there are islands. Add our penchant for foreign aid - without ever an efficient infrastructure to distribute it to the truly needy - we, as a people, remain impoverished, exploited, and oppressed.

it's high time to wake up and help get involve in the cleaning the mess of our country. i've been bored on this kind that since i was a kid the problem still lingers on and on without any lift up. we don't deserve to be called Christian place our actions are not in harmony with the words of Christ. It's a shame on us. We are cursed unless we repent and ask forgiveness, that's what God wants from us. We are on the brink of perdition this is our last opportunity of this age and era.
