One of my co workers gave her siblings (5) one taxi each - hoping they would stop depending on her. What happened, after a year, they don't have the taxi anymore. It's heart breaking indeed.

Last year. I let my sister stay in my house free of charge. She has extended family, a daughter with two children. I sent them monthly allowance. From time to time, my neice asked me for a loan to start a business and would pay me back. But paying back is another story. I got fed up, so I just send them balik bayan boxes every six months with all basic necessities. I'm sure if I send them cash, it will just be spent for something else. But inspite of this, she asked me for another loan last month. I did not. Now I'm preparing another box before Christmas. At least I'm sure, the cereals, milk, coffee, bath soap, laundry detergents, vitamins, canned goods, toothpaste, chocolate drinks, etc. would surely help them a long long way. I'm even planning to put a 20- lb rice. Better than sending them more additional cash. At least I know that the children will not be deprived of milk and cereals.

To Gutom gid, correction. It should be I went home last year. My grandson (13 years old), visited his 5 playmates and brought them to the mall the whole day. He bought them a pair of shoes, tshirts. He was so happy and wanted to go back. Unfortunately, he attended summer school and could not leave. Hopefully, next summer after school ends.

Thats true that even poor people doing everything in their power to send their children to school to get a good education, Because education is very imfortand. It cost you a bundle. Pretty soon the Philippines will be brainless because only richs people can afford to send their children to school. The rest of filipino people will be nothing but brainless.
