Reptiles cannot be pets. They have no feelings or emotions. You cannot train them. They react on instinct only. Hopefully these people will be prosecuted and the children removed from the home. The only people that I have ever seen with snakes as pets are the same people that have useless pit bulls as pets. The sad thing is that they almost always have children.

I read a few years back about a family snake suffocating one of the kids. Wrapped itself around the child's chest and squeezed till she was dead. The mom found the girl like that. The whole family used to let the snake wrap itself around them and it never squeezed like that before. Sad and scary. I love snakes, but I wouldn't let one wrap itself around me, they are too unpredictable, even if you think you know it well.

People have snakes as "pets" because they think it's "cool".You can't train them, they don't respond to humans,so,what's the point? They're best left in the wild to live as they were intended, not so some knucklehead can try and show off.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
