What was forgotten in this article is that a rabbit is capable of inflicting a severe bite. Their teeth and jaws are powerful. Little children who mishandle a rabbit or cause it pain will find out soon enough.

okay...I had the same problem with a hamster. I kept it 4 a year (befor it died of cancer D;) and EVERY time i picked it up it always bit me as hard as it could. and that hamster could bite. My fingers were all banged up on the 1st day I got her. If that's how a hamster treats me, I wonder what a rabbit will do...

ive had my bun 4 years & shell give me a lite squeeze w. her teeth if i displease her but has never drawn blood

if theyre rough handled early in life they may develop the habit of biting imo

rabbits should be in a quiet nonthreatening place & shouldnt be teased. teasing is not in their repertoire
