I am the proud owner of two rabbits that were adopted from the SPCA of York County. Their background is unknown, but all I know is that they are wonderful living companions for my husband and I! I have owned several rabbits throughout my lifetime, and wish too that they were not impulsively purchased. Rabbits are highly social animals that need several hours' interaction outside of the cage every day, something that is often overlooked. Instead of getting your child a live rabbit for Easter, opt for the chocolate version instead!
Good source of info
