The owners - a woman and her adult son - were charged with animal cruelty. "It has to be the worst case of animal abuse in the history of Vermont," according to Animal Control Officer Josephine Guertin.

Please contact the County Prosecutor and encourage him to press stricter charges against these heinous individuals. They are given the ability to live in a hotel while their mess is "cleaned" up. I am appauled and disgusted with the legal system and it's ability to protect the innocent creatures.

The hotel will have to de-bug the room they are staying in. There is just no question about this case. These two are mentally warped. Overall, people are committing such horrible crimes and never getting punished for it.

Fred and Lila Stevens kills dozens of dogs and cats per year. I garuntee, that property holds dozens of dead dogs. As I witness'd them kill atleast 20 dogs myself... Sick people they are, as Lila is my birth mother who gave all us minor kids away for pedi-Fred. Not to mention all the other crimes they committed against us kids..
