Does anyone know if people are rescuing pets in Lavallette.There is a cat in a condo at the corner of Rt.35 and Philadelphia It has plenty of food and water but should be rescued.Please let me know at psandps2@netscape.com

You should contact the ASPCA in Ocean Co or call the non-emergency number for the Toms River Police Dept. The ASPCA is rescuing pets from the island. As I understand it they are 1-2 days behind so you should get on the list asap.

I can not find any info for ocean county pet rescue for hurricane sandy. Everything is about monmouth county. Where are these pets going if not reunited with their owner?
