I agree with pet stores being able to sell dogs and cats but instead of breeding these animals they should start taking in animals that need homes first. There are so many cats and dogs without homes its crazy! They need help finding homes and if pet shops started to help get them homes and help them live the little life they have that would be one big maricle rite there. So....Please help them live their lives feeling loved. because just like people they need love and shelter. If there is no love and shelter thats when they start to give up on themselves. So please help them to be healthy, happy and get good homes to belong to.
Thankyou.
Sincerely,
Me Elysia Fields

the pet shop is very clean and the people that work there are the best people around . They take care of the animals and educate the people of the animals. Why would they be in trouble when they take care of there animals and they even educate the people and the public? Grow up and go see them the will help you out and they will make your animal feel great because they are good people .

Corbets is actaully a very bad store to go to. I
bought fish from there and they got ich, when i went there were dead frogs and a dead rat in 2 of the tanks I only bought the feeder fish because i had gone back a few days later and everything looked good. Unfortunatly one of my oscars ( which i didn't buy from there) I bought a dog from there also and he has behavioural problems

Corbets isn't the best Pet Store because I brought a Firebelly Newt there and it died 3 days after I got it, so i went back and bought a rat there and she is healthy so i think it can be a bad petstore and a good one.

Corbets is a bad pet store to go too.I'v seen an agressive dog that they were trying to sell and they keep animals locked up in the back room the puppies are in way too little cages and there are dead fish ,frogs and newts in the tanks. When i was looking for a cage to buy there was dust in the bottom of it.It is also very unorginized.Even though i am only 11 i see the problems clearly and i wouldnt recomend any body to go to this store.

Corbets is awful! My husband and I bought fish there, and they all had ich. Plus infected my other fish in the tank! They don't know what they are talking about when in comes to a lot of things, all they care about it the sale and the money that they make.

Corbets is horrible. Thier store is horribly dusty and disorganized. They have bird cages mixed in with the mice and dogs which is proven to cause breathing issues with all animals because of the mix of dander.
I can not count the amount of times they have messed my brother around for $$. They quote him one thing for a product, then when they get the product in it is somehow at least $10.00 more because of the "manufacturer".
They say that they take their dogs in to the vet for check-ups but I know that is not true because my brother bought both of his dogs from there and both of them had kennel cough.
They also say taht they have someone come in and clean the dogs everyday..that is also not true because every day that I have gone in there to check their dogs are filthy full of pee and/or tangled up horribly.
Terrible place, overpriced I wish they would just shut down.

That's bullshit. I've seen a guinea pig in there with SCURVY literally scabbed and bleeding for sale, they get their puppies from mills and keep them in tiny cages, and almost all the puppies and kittens have eye infections and such. They also sell dogs claiming to be purebred (they aren't) for unbelievable prices causing them to sit in the store homeless for far too long. I actually know people who own an animal rescue that have bought dogs from there and nursed them back to health to rescue them.

Corbet's is the worst family run business I have EVER Dealt with. They lie and rip you off like crazy! They don't know anything about the products they are selling, and therefore make up prices. The conditions that the animals live in at the store makes me sick. The birds, rats, puppies, and kittens live in cramped cages, and have no toys to play with. how do you expect your puppys behaviour to be when it is in a cramped cage for weeks with nothing to play with? While at the store I overheard the owners son stating that they are losing customers, it's obvious why!

I went to corbets about a month ago to look for a puppy.Theres two in windsor so I went to both. Both the stores smelled really bad and the guy working there was very dirty looking. The puppies were all barking and trying to claw there way out of the obviously too mall, cages.I was literally discusted. We asked what breed a certain puppy was and the man stood infront of me,thinking for about 5 minutes and said pure breed yorkie.I turned around and on the board it said 'shitzu-yorkie mix'.He clearly did not know what he was doing.I asked my mom if we could leave because looking at the puppies got me upset.Yes,I'm 14 years old.But even I can tell when someones is doing something very, very wrong. When are we going to find a pet store that actually cares for the well being of their animals?

Don't try to feed us that bullshit. We've all had a bad experience with corbets pet store.Don't try to tell us 'it's a good pet store, and the people that run it are good people.' That's complete bullshit. They don't know what there doing. And not only is the store itself a complete mess, but the people that work there are unhygienic. It's completly disgusting.Go there, watch the kittens sleep in there litter boxes with no food or water bowls, cramed into a crate. And tell me it's a good pet store.

I rescued a cat from there,if i had the money i would have gotten all of them. the store stank and was dusty.
if i was a member of the health department i would shut them down.
if it wasnt for the poor conditions that my kitten was living in i would have walked out, but i am a person that has loved animals all my life and couldnt let an animal live in that way.
it is not a good pet store and should be avoided at all cost.
the kitten i got from them has worms,(i know it is common) go to the humane society, there as honest as they can be with the pets there.

Yes they are a terrible store and I know it's hard to see these animals there but for every animal u think ur rescuing there all your doing is keeping them in buissness that much longer cuz as soon as u buy that puppy or kitten to rescue it there they are going to order another onne in it's place so please just stop buying from them

For everyone who has been taken advantage by Corbets Peta in Windsor. You have to keep in mind that they are a LIQUIDATION RETAILOR which means that they have nothing that is "NEW" If they pull out a price book to assist you costs that book is at least 7-10 years old and for higher quality items that you will never find in their stores. My wife recently supprised me with an amazing fish aquarium that she thought she got an amazing deal on arround $ 1500.00 I looked it over and found that the tank leaks, the stand is no where near strong enough to support the approx. weight of 2000 lbs of water, glass, gravel needed to set this tank up. When I tried to return it to the Tecumseh Rd. store, the big skin head guy the son of the owner, accused me of damaging the aquarium, and as for the stand that was too small he told me I was trying to return a home made stand that he would never have sold me. I advise that no person should shop at Corbets Pets they are one of the biggest rip offs you can find. Please stay away and save your time and money, and grief.
