I have two cats I rescued from the humane society a year and a half ago. One is a two and a half year old female and the other is an 8 and a half year old male. I recently rescued a one and a half year old female and my male cat seems to have less patience with her as time goes on. He hisses and recently has started snapping at her sometimes. He came from a multiple cat household so I dont know y he is doing this. He weighs over double what she does so do I have to worry about this behavior? I've had her for about two months and no fights so far just increased testiness from him.

You could introduce a boot to the backside when this behavior occurs, not sure you will get any better advice on Topix forums.
