I just wanted to comment on news from 2014 when two Cane Corso dogs owned by Sebastiano Quagliata and his wife, Valbona Lucaj, both of Metamora, attacked and killed a runner.
Both of these individuals were living in the country illegally. The dogs were a nuisance and had bitten and threatened neighbors but nothing was done before the attack. The poor man suffered and died on the roadside. Both these individuals were charged with second degree murder and received a short few years sentence. Mr. Qualiata is already out on parole. I was wondering if this person was still living in the country or was he deported as he should be? Will him and his wife be allowed to own animals again? I don't want them living on my street.
