Bats have a lifespan of 25 years in the wild but rarely live over a year when kept as pets. They usually die of loneliness and depression in the pet trade. They need roost mates, large flight cages, specialized food and psychological enrichment in order to survive in captivity. Please do the right thing and give these babies to a sanctuary where they can live out their lives in peace. Here's more info: http://www.batworld.org/pet-bats/

Someone tried scamming me for a puppy a few months back. It was someone in Cameroon but they claimed to have offices in America and that the seller was in uk. They even used a legitimate pet shipping agency name but once I contacted the company they told me they didn't even ship to the uk. I won't say all pets offered from Cameroon are scams but it is common and people need to

Because people from Africa think that the general public calls all the shots. Or maybe you were just lucky enough to find the one American on the Internet who really did send the attacks ...
Nevertheless, he is right. Stats are stats are stats. Don't buy your bat here. By from a real breeder in person. The bat will be acclimated, have its shots, and most importantly, the breeder(or carrier) will be able to pass some knowledge on to make sure your bat stays healthy and happy :) not all bats are endangered. Most pet bats are docile. And very rarely do they carry ugly virus'

Thinking about h having bats on my farm to keep the misquitos down or gone. ducks and fish can't keep up. So, If they live longer not in cages, they can live in a bat house attached to my barn.
