Former Wash. man sentenced in Social Security case

The U.S. attorney's office says a 70-year-old former Bellevue, Wash., man who collected his dead mother's Social Security benefits for 23 years has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for his fraud.

Why would you put the old buzzard in prison for 6 months?? Crowded prisons are a problem in every state. Either lock him up in local jail or make him wear an ankle bracelet and confine him to his home for a year. And he pays for the device.

sounds more like senior abuse to conceal , there is a chance older person never knew , in fact , read more on frames on the old and retarded.
