The Tea Party cannot ever rebel nor seceed because they are all on socialist security and government Medicare. None of them are going to separate from the feds and go without SS and without Medicare, so their will be no rebellion because the Tea Party lives off of the government. They are a sick joke.

I love the call of "socialist security". You know you are on it as well right? Everyone in this country is a "socialist"; you simply want to agrue about how red you are.

Well i would rather socialize tax dollars to help our society (infrastructure, education, heathcare, research) rather than spend in on endless wars, corperate welfare, and departments to spy on us.

The reason the government keeps going after Social Security and Medicare instead of welfare is because most of the federal budget goes to pay out SS and Medicare, and that is where all the debt is. SS and Medicare have over $122 trillion in unfunded liabilities. It's on the debt clock. And, the politicians figure that if they ended welfare that people would all be rioting whereas they know that older people get four times more money from the government than everyone else does and they also know that the old people own homes and hold most of the nation's wealth and have several government pensions, so they would rather make the old people take some cuts in SS and in Medicare and have them pay more for their health care because they can afford to. It makes sense if this is where all the unfunded liabilities are that this is where you have to cut. And those people don't pay income taxes anymore since they are retired and they have homes and are old so they can take out reverse mortgages.

The National Debt Clock now shows that SS and Medicare have over $122 trillion in unfunded liabilities, that means that the government has promised to give the baby boomers $122 trillion more from SS and Medicare than they paid in, in taxes. So that means in the next year or so we would have to come up with a new national sales tax or value added tax in order to generate about $3 trillion every year to pay the baby boomers SS and Medicare. It's big huge money.

If the amount is $122 trillion and it would be paid out over the next 20-30 years that the baby boomers are retired, then divide $122 trillion by 30 years at best, and so it would cost over $4 trillion every year that has to be paid out in SS and Medicare, so we would need a huge value added tax or national sales tax in order to come up with the unfunded liabilities in SS and in Medicare.

This is the insanity of the Tea Party. They are the ones who want the $122 trillion in SS and Medicare given to them, so they are the ones who need a VAT or national sales tax to fund the government stuff they want, so this is what European socialism is when you create a value added tax or national sales tax to fund social programs, and yet these are the same people who keep saying they don't want European socialism, yet they spent all of their money and they live off of European socialism which is union pensions, government pensions and government health care.

The tea party is functionally illiterate to put it in a nice way. They have such low IQs that they have no ability to think, no critical thinking skills and no ability to be honest. So we have super dumb people asking for tons of government money saying that they hate European socialism while that's what they live off of. And they are demanding gigantic government spending while saying to cut spending, and they need a value added tax in order to fund the stuff they want and while they demand the stuff from the government, they don't want the new taxes they would need to pay for it. So this is just low, low IQ mess of people making idiotic demands who have no critical thinking skills and they all thought they could demand an end to welfare programs and that the money that would be saved on welfare spending could be put into SS and Medicare spending instead.

By using the Constitution we will be able to reduce the size of the government thus reduce the amount money needed by the government to operate.

Under the first Amendment the Congress CANNOT establish any form of religion or religious activity. The feeding of the poor is a religious activity strictly forbidden by the First Amendment. Therefore we can eliminate ALL social welfare programs and turn them back over to the churches.

Under Section 8 of Article I it is the responsibility of the individual state law enforcement agencies to enforce federal laws. that eliminates ALL of the federal law enforcement agencies.

Not only that but the Constitution DOES NOT authorize our participation in the United Nations, our civilian intelligence and counter intelligence operations (CIA or NSA)therefore we are able to eliminate all of them as well.

That brings me to the IRS and the personal Income Tax. Both of which are unconstitutional. Under the current tax code the government is authorized to demand every Taxpayer surrender their personal and private financial papers to the IRS without the benefit of a proper warrant in direct violation of the 4th Amendment. Then the IRS is able to use that Taxpayer's personal and private financial documents against them in a court of law thus forcing that Taxpayer to be a witness against him/herself in direct violatio0n of the 5th Amendment.

Under the Equal Pay Tax the government at all levels determine exactly how much money they need to operate over the coming year and that amount of money is divided equally by the number of Taxpayers living within their jurisdiction.

Then to address our National debt. Under the Social Security Act whenever there is a surplus in oue Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds that surplus is converted into 'Special' Treasury Bonds and our Money that we have entrusted to the government is placed in the General Tax Fund to be sued for everything other than our Retirement. I would convert all of those 'Special' Treasury bonds into eDollars which will pay for our Retirement costs and reduce the National Debt by about 65%. That is because the government has been borrowing our Retirement money for the past 45 years and we actually hold the majority of the National Debt. By converting those 'Special' Treasury Bonds into eDollars and issuing Social Security E-Cards to every person receiving Social Security we can retire the National Debt within 10 years.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Everyone who wants socialist security and government Medicare is a socialist, they are pro-socialism, obviously. You can't both demand that 97 percent of the budget goes to old people in government health care and in government pensions and claim to hate socialism both at the same time.
And that's why no state even considered seceeding because no one is going to give up Medicare and SS, so we are all socialists now. No one is independent. No one saved enough money to live retired. No one can afford to pay for all of their old aged health care themselves. Everyone is dependent on the government and loves their socialism. And here the tea party is on all of that stuff and their only issue is them demanding all of that stuff from the government. It proves how dependent everyone is on the government and how deep socialism runs in this country.
The very people that are on socialism and are fighting over keeping their socialism are the ones who claim to be independent and they claim to be against socialism and they claim they do not need the government. The country is all mentally ill people in total denial about what they are doing who only think about greed of money and they are narcissists in that they say how great they are, what big patriots they are, while they are asking for SS and Medicare. They all have super low IQs and no educations and are dependent on the government to live fat, to have self-importance, and then they have American narcissism thing where they are NOTHING expect violent and they think they are god's gift to the world. They are screaming dependent little babies who know nothing who think they are sooooo important because big daddy government says so.
Interesting, Pam; you point out that they have so confused common decency with socialism that they hate themselves. Were they raised by wolves, do you suppose? Are their brothers Romulus and Remus?

Along with these beliefs, you were too decent to mention; usually goes a healthy dose of racism and irratonal hate.

I think the 'conservative christian'-'tea-bag coalition' have been unknowingly turned into a Satanist, anti-Christ superstition, who think and mis-believe in lockstep.

Can they be saved?

We have a lot of work to do between now and November 2014. To start with we have got to vote out all of the RINOs within the Republican Party and then we have got to take our party back before we will be able to restore our Constitution and the Republic it established.

361 likes in less than 3 months says different. And that does not include the 112,168 people who are currently following me on Facebook. Nor does it take into account the millions of people who are visiting my website.

I may have gotten off to a very slow start but I am picking up momentum. What was so funny during this past election was the fact that if I didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning the number of people on here who were attacking me and who are no longer here on Topix. Yes I was watching and I notices a drastic drop in posts after I moved my campaign to Facebook and Twitter. Every interesting indeed. I did learn one very important lesson. If I have been posting on Facebook and Twitter from the beginning Obama most certainly would not be president right now.

Think about it.

With some of the ideas people are writing on here, it starts to add up. And when doing so, better written rules and laws for the general population collecting any type of benefit. Why we keep heading in this direction knowing it is going to get worse is a symptom of a culture torpedoing itself.

The problem with Social Security and Medicare is by law whenever there is a surplus in either that surplus must be converted into worthless 'Special' Treasury Bonds and our Retirement money is added to the General Tax Fund where it is spent on everything other than our Social Security and medicare Benefits. Right now both Social Security and Medicare hold about 65% of the National Debt in trust.

The solution is very simply we convert those 'Special' Treasury Bonds into eDollars at an exchange rate of 1 eDollar is worth 2 Federal Reserve Notes. That would retire that portion of the National Debt owed to Social Security and Medicare while making both permanently solvent.

No, it wouldn't.

The more they are taxed on, the more they receive in benefits later.

Yes you would get a temporary "surplus" in social security, but as we've seen in the past the Congress would spend every penny of that surplus on wars and then when those who paid more get around to retiring the money won't be there to pay their higher benefits.

It only works if you increase the taxable income, but NOT increase the limit on the current maximum a person can receive when they retire- currently about $2500 per month.

THAT I WOULD support, because it's another way of essentially means testing social security.
