Sure, if they want to finish off the GOP, let them vote for higher taxes. We can get rid on them, just like we did many of the liberals and old men in 2010. Many of the week kneed are coming up in 2014.

All President Obama has to do is wait it out. If the Republicans don't agree, the Bush Tax Cuts go out on Jan. 1 taxes go up for a while before the tax cuts that Obama is proposing goes into effect. If the Republicans agree the taxes go up and they have backed out of their 'pledge' to Grover Norquist and are in danger of losing what is left of their base.

Quite a pickle for the Republicans.

Speaker Downgrade and the GOP TEA Party RINOs are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Come 1/1/2013, the Bush tax cuts expire for EVERYONE. Then President Obama can come in and push for tax cuts just for the middle class. If the GOP TEA Party RINOs hold that hostage to protects the 1% they will look like champions for the 1% once again. Like when they held our payroll tax cuts hostage.

Poor Boehnor.

The republicans have no choice; the American people elected Obama in a landslide with a mandate to do whatever he wants… It is going to be great to watch the right go kicking and scream all the way to the point of President Obama raising taxes on the rich, LOL, I love it.

Actually you better live by your word. Because as the president spouted vengeance and as we at our level do the same, there is a big difference. From the powerless to the powerful. Ther can be no vengeance from us. there can be getting "EVEN". And that is happening as we speak with social security and medicare collectors set to double and more within a decade or so. That is just a start. Tens of millions of families do not collect a dime from government and can right now. But they will. Slowly and with nature they will give in and work the system and ad hundreds of billions of dollars of debt and then trillions of dollars to collet and live a softer life that is legal by law and is collected by tens of millions of others and about half of the country now. We will all enjoy as religious guiilt and family guilt is replaced by secular government with a socialist twang and the obvious police state tyranny that comes with it. Yeah..there is no anger. Just a realization of what one must do to survive now.....I challenge you to get the tens of trillions of dollars needed and more to accomadate everyone. You have the power and have had it for decades. Now do it.

CNN, NBC, FOX, MSNBC, all major newspapers said there is no mandate as oblumber barely recieved over half the popular vote, republicans won the house and now have 30 governorships out of 50. Over 30 million emails to the house to stand their ground.

Your little dictator wannabe will have to sit in the WH and behave himself. LMAO

There is no mandate..........Barack Obama won a second term but no mandate. Thanks in part to his own small-bore and brutish campaign, victory guarantees the president nothing more than the headache of building consensus in a gridlocked capital on behalf of a polarized public.

The mandate is a myth,” said John Altman, associate professor of political science at York College of Pennsylvania.“But even if there was such a thing as a mandate, this clearly isn’t an election that would produce one.”

Obama’s small margin of victory and the fact that U.S. voters are divided deeply by race, gender, spirituality, and party affiliation. You can’t claim to be carrying out the will of the people when the populous has little shared will.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/2012-president...

Just because a young punk who pretends to be a Marine so he can impress people says there's a mandate doesn't make it true. Before this election, he didn't know what a mandate really was. He wasn't born before Reagan!! LMAO

Of course they will, if not, they have to figure out how to pay for that additional taxcut for the top 2% in the country.

Funny how the "no compromise" party now complains that the current offer from the President is not a compromise..

lol. Of course it's now.

Now come back with your reasons why you won't allow a vote on a keeping the taxcut proposed for all ALL Americans on the first 250k.

LOL.It will be embarrassing for repubs when they have to tell America why they won't allow a simple vote on keeping the Bush tax cut for all Americans on their first 250k.

All of of sudden the party that wanted to fight on everything, now claims the fighting is bad.

Pretty much says who has the leverage.

Boehner, stop holding America hostage so you repubs could protect a tax rate increase on the top 2% in wealth.

Actually, the voters voted on allowing the Bush (UNPAID FOR) taxcuts for the top 2% to go away.

Not sure if FauxNews game you the other points above to panic over, but, that is not what voters paid for, or Obama campaigned to do.

Take a nap. You're probably just constipated, repug.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)-- President Obama's proposal to let the Bush tax cuts expire for top earners would hit only a tiny fraction of all small businesses, but it includes nearly 1 million companies that employ people.

That's according to an IRS study, which counted more than 20 million enterprises as small businesses

This preisdent will hurt MANY small businesses..........his economics knowledge is fk'd, and his spokesman Giethner is a known tax cheat.

Things could be far worse.

In Calif, the State Dem Party determined that the State Dem voting majority were so stupid that they could get them to vote for Taxation Without Representation for ALL Democratic voting families who aren't Govt funded Employees.

On Nov 6th, the CA Dem voters actually used their own majority to Vote FOR Taxation Without Representation for all businesses and workers in the private sector, including their OWN families. The State Dem Party leadership are still laughing.

On the same day Dem voters they gave the Union Operatives who pretend to be Democrats at election time a full 2/3's majority in the Legislature. With unfunded CA Union pension bonanzas approaching $1 TRILLION, the families of the majority of Dem voters won't stand a chance.

Watch out. Democrat on Democrat Extortion is a trend that is coming your way. Before you ignore the Union label on your Dem pols you better ask them if they are Pro Union or Union Owned. Before it is too late and PA families become nothing more than slaves to the Devils Partnership.

Offer by President Obama NOW asks for more than before, when he offered a huge compromised and Boehner and repubs balked, as they stood fast on t-party "no-compromise" stances.

Excellent move by the President.

Now, repubs are forced to come back with their response specifically stating what they want to cut...instead of demanding the President state the cuts repubs are afraid to state themselves.

Repubs wants the cuts in social programs...than state your proposal. And do include farm subsidies/gov guarantees.
