I think it's very bad when you work 20+ years and you get injured, then you are put through the wringers, hoops or whatever, when that's my money that they didn't have any problem taking out of my pay, then you have a family who is on ssi that have never worked a day in their life and their kids quit school and immediately are on a check because of the way they where raised and they have little skills to none, but they don't have to wait and go through the wringers? This country is not for the honest or the working people! My opinion it's more communism here than you think? Social security is not broke because of disabled people it's the government giving working peoples money to everyone and everything but disabled workers???
that's right, right on the dot. AS THOSE WHO WORK are then fraud off within illegal conceal attempts.

I know this is not total representation but most people I know on SSI either are alcoholics claiming to have gastic disorders or fake back injuries. Meanwhile I know people with legitimate disorders that still work. Wonderful country we live in.

People with a physical disability are denied before people with mental are. Perhaps he should have claimed he was bipolar and have some quack right it up.
Isn't it sick that someone who can't wipe there own ass or is missing a leg get's denied while a person with a hyper-active or depressed kid collects a disability check? One law states u must be unemployed 1 year before they can even be elligable. Lawyers should be slapped for taking money from the disabled. It's like taking the wheel off someone's wheel chair if the law says your entitled you certainly don't need some attorney holding your hand ensuring your rights the courts are supposed to do that right???
Anyway if your disabled (eligible) and only off work 6 months and you file you will automatically be denied based on the year rule because you were not off work one year. So lawyers no this what an easy case. They file an appeal knowing darn well your eligible wait the year and a half it takes to get through the appeal process that's if your lucky, and collect a portion of your check at some point while your going without in the process.
Lawyers and judges the courts in general are set up in such a way that it's all about money now no longer right and or wrong.
The judges that deny these poor unfortunate souls should be held accountable for ignoring the law when there is a "clear cut case".
Here's an example of how a york county judge ignored the law. Case of Trout v. Strube victim had Protection from abuse Order against Strube ( 4rth order in 10 years it should be 3 strikes and your out but that's a different topix) anyway the PFA act has a section that states the victim upon any violation of the order could request an extension of the term and judge Linebaugh in york county claimed that the word shall in the PFA act meant "at the Courts discretion" this dis-honorable judge ignored the law and robbed the victim of the justice the law says she is entitled to but what's it to him???
Judges suffer no consequence either way what motivation is it to rule rightly??? Imagine how much of a payoff they probably got from s.s. to make that decision initially.
Judges also recieve term salary too. They have no discipline and the very judicial center is also a RACIST SCAM please allow me to explain.
Judge Kelley of york county pa is white and had sex with a public defender while being a judge on the criminal bench, then she put a Protection from abuse against him so the presiding judge (Linebaugh) moved Kelley from the criminal bench to the civil to continue his unjust and inhumane screwing. So the judge who had a PFA against himself got to hear and rule on PFA cases unscathed.
Next we have the Honorable Judge Ballentine a black judge of Lancaster County Pa.
This poor judge was allegedly issued parking tickets way after the alleged violations (which is not legal, after 60 days they are no longer able to site you for a violation allegedly taking place more than 60 days prior) anyway, she was accused of dismissing parking tickets the news paper said nasty shit about her ect. she waS suspended 2 years. How fair is that???
Kelley pennitrated, and perverted justice plus couldn't keep his hands and pee pee to himself while on the bench and nothing done to him.
We need Judges to be held liable and responsible and have honest people of perhaps another kind of board than the current disciplinary one meauring out just punishment for such asshole judges.
They make money either way. Usually the one persuing justice vcan't afford to bribe the courts they are to busy litigating and paying other fees.

I talked to my social security disability claim rep. She said she put my case in for approval ... but it got pulled for an audit ... The next day the website advised a decision has been made and I will be notified in the mail. If they were going to approve me wouldn't the website say I was approved? Or do they only say you will be notified by mail?

I do not run with any crowd. Just an observation. I am sure that many receipients are more than able to work but like the handout. We need a better screening process.

This is not a complaint department and before you go making assumptions you should really study the truth and if you don['t like the facts or the fact that you obviously have to work take that up with the Federal Gevernment they say it's ok to pass out checks.
Don't discriminate everyone is entitled. I think people who can't get it are jelous because they have to work for a livin otherwise they woudn't be bitchn. People dont' say no to free things unless your stuck up and too prideful
I make well over 100K a year. I don't want to lay around collecting a free money check of a couple hundred bucks a month. Trouble with all this government money is too many worthless people are satisfied with doing nothing and spending their whole lives faking a disability just to get a check for a couple hundred a month. If you actually went out and worked for a living you might actually create a worthwhile life.

First of all just because you get a check you don't work for doesn't make you a fraud. Are you a Dr. to even be able to make such an assumption??
If you think people like living off a few hundred dollars a month your saddly mistaken it's hardly enough to survive on let alone live on
You sound like one of those prideful christian bastards that think because you make your filthy money your are more entitled and better than the rest of the world?
Like I said people have no buisness concerning them selves with other people's rights to collect a check. What's it to you and why are you so concerned if you make all the money you claim you do??
Greedy and perhaps jelous aren't we???
To bad you don't like it complain to the federal government and tell them your alleged fraud concerns will you otherwise again too bad so sad.
And by the way you call the "recievers" fraud you also call the section of government that approved them fraudulant so again good luck pal I'm sure they will get right on your pathetic rambling complaints

Oh and wait till you get terminal illness and can't wipe your own ass and work for a living to pay someone else to wipe your ass. Then you'll be wishing you could collect a check

The couple in the Times story was able to marry, combine their incomes, and get out of the Medicaid trap. Others will not be so lucky, and may not even read the fine print: BEWARE -- ALL GOV IS DIRTY

The fact that this is being treated with seriousness at Kos is an indication of how large a liability it could be for this government program. Washington is scrambling to change the law. No doubt other states will start looking at their implementation of this part of Obamacare. But there will be people caught unaware that their houses effectively belong to the government because the government forced them into Medicaid coverage. You’re welcome!

not going to call it unintended because in its current form, it potentially earns a bunch of money for states, sure that’s intentional. What is unintentional is anyone noticing this is what they’re up to.

State can seize your assets to pay for care after you’re forced into Medicaid by Obamacare , don't be fooled.

Once Oblama and his "clowns" are out of office I'm sure someone will come along who will amend the crap in such a way it will be as if it never existed.
I understand the Oblama care to be like someone giving away a free house but the person to whom it's given can only live in it 1 hour a day and is forbiden to use utilities ever. The government has no business in the health care section but hey that just opened up the door for money( more funding) for the Budget they can't manage anyway.
They government is twisted but it doesn't have to be people allow it to happen.
Want results quit whining. Less talk and more action otherwise it will be pissing and moaning on this site wtf do they care?? Oblama and his clowns???

You fail to understand a very basic tenet of government giveaways. The people hired to administer any welfare system have no incentive to limit the membership. The opposite is true of course, the more people the more money for your department.
Contrary to your protestations and bleating of unfairness, you are part of the problem. The only cause your bloated constituency demands is to suckle, uninterrupted at the government teat, no rules, no regulations.
You might consider a bigger goal for your life instead of a rampage at Walmart once a month.
