Former South Pittsburg mayor's store raided by FBI over suspected gambling machines

This has been going on for years. Whenever I would go in there on 3rd shift to eat people would be playing those machine like crazy.

It's ironic that SPPD was there assisting the FBI when they accepted money from mayor Mike to turn a blind eye and inform him when the FBI was coming. I already know what Mike's gonna tell the FBI, I LEASED THAT PART OF THE BUILDING TO SOMEONE ELSE AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THERE.

for your info the sppd was not even informed and hell no they werent assisting the fbi i was there and i know what went on get your story straight and they did indeed take out the machines in a uhaul so you dont know what your talking about i hope m.k. goes to jail for it to.

You are right, they were not informed this time cause the FBI knew what the chief was doing, running as fast as he can to mayor Mike and warning him. When I drove by the lotto mart I saw the chief there, I figure he was getting his nose brown, that's what he does best

I want to know that one also.The law knows they have machines in Rudders and Andys and i am sure their other stores too.they come over here and buy everybodys business thats fool enough to sell 2 them and lose their livelyhood and do not have 2 pay taxes.I think they were just after Mike and His machines the India people have their own Mafia that supplies their machines.its not right American citizens SHOULD have more rights than foreigners but DO NOT.go over to India and see if you can take over there stores and get by with more than they do.LOL with that said i do not resent them being here they should be accountable as must as we are is all i am saying.everyone treated the same....

Mayor Mike has a monopoly in this town, His illegal machines and Barry Cole running his bookie service! The fireworks business is probably a cover up. Maybe they get the drugs out of Steverenos next. Mayor Jane got hands full.

I did not know this! From now on let's all just avoid those "newly purchased" businesses and go somewhere else. Andrew Jackson made the Indians relocate without war so we could do it by shunning. They can't stay in business without patrons. No taxes on $0 is more fair than all profit and no taxes. They want to live here, mandate that they pay taxes. They want to be american and taxes are an american reality. Call your state Reps and even the "new and enlightened pres" . Let him know how you feel and enlighten him some more.

Do you think they are the only ones that don't pay taxes! I know some self employed people around, they clean houses, mow yards, handy work, babysitting, done this for years, and have never paid the first tax. I know for a fact, this lady has been cleaning people's houses for YEARS, and she cleans around 7 houses a week, they pay her around 50.00-100.00 each a week, so you do the math.

She may work her butt off, but she brings home all that cash, and doesn't pay her fair share of taxes. Just imagine all who work for cash, all over the United States, that are not honest enough, who cheat the system. Today I was told the tax exemption was for a certain period of time and then the business was transferred into the name of another member of the family and the cycle starts all over again. That ain't right and neither is other types of tax evasion. I was self employed once and kept meticulous records.
