Rand Paul is a nutbagger. Christian Reconstructionists like him are the target of the movie "Machete Kills". Machete is cool.

Imagine a day when political pundits, big labor, and big business can no longer apply different rules for conduct, or confiscate others peoples money to run through their sticky fingers.

It is good to see that, at least for a little while, the politicians can't steal your hard earned money with both slimey hands. I talk to people every day that bring their children to school, and I can't find any that are dependent enough on the Government for the shutdown to affect their lives in any way. The Dim witted Democrats will be so disappointed.

you mean like all the farmers in the US that depend on the US gov't for their crop insurance and stable market prices? or do you mean all the people in the military? all the people on medicare? medicaid? SS? you just alienated about 5/6th of the people in the US....

it's so cute when you try to act like you actually know what you are talking about...pathetically inept, but cute...

First , let's talk about subsidies for doing things farmers and ranchers would be doing anyway. This has been going on 70 years now and was initiated to provide support for the military during WWII. The program was never terminated. Why? The military is authorized by the US constitution and supposed to be funded by the people. There are much better ways to run social security, but the confiscators don't want to give up control since it goes to the general fund(ie Lyndon Johnson and then double taxed thanks to Bubba Clinton and Egore). Medicare and Medicaid along with all other monies generated through healthcare will now be channeled to the general fund thanks to Obamacare. And talk about feathering your friends nests, only the large companies with deep pockets who generously contribute to the political pundits will be able to stay in business due to over regulation and special considerations. Imagine how these genius who can't balance the budget will now use all the nations wealth on controlling the masses, and relegating them to glorified slaves. Congratulations

Well, most of the subsidies go to the crop insurance program and the commodities market, not to farmers doing what farmers already do...
those stabilizing factors help keep our food supply steady and available.

you seem to think all government involvement is bad, but look back in our history when there was little or no gov't involvement in our markets or banking systems or any kind of regulation. no sane person would ever go back to that era

the sound bytes you toss out aren't arguments for anything but better education of the electorate...
