Economic stimulus payment schedule revealed

Is it true, that if we file our taxes on line (ie: taxact.com ) an opt for direct deposit we will not receive stimulus checks via direct deposit but receive paper checks.

You know it's not that we are complaining. Did you ever stop to think that someone on here may really need it? Please stop and think before you write. Even food pantries are low on items so yes people on here are looking for help. Don't be so quick to judge.

I thought if you did your taxes and direct deposited the money into your account it would arrive by May 9th? My last 2 digits are between 21 and 40 so why didn't I receive my money yet? Does anyone else have this problem or know what I can do to get this?

oh the irs is all screwed up they dont know what the hell there doing i had call last week first they told me i was getting a direct deposit then they told me i was getting a paper check every operator seems to have their own little story.

I have been reading these posts all along and was in a complete panic about our check because it seemed that there were so many iffy things that could affect it. I thought that we would get a DD by the 16th (tomorrow)due to the fact that we appeared to do everything that would suggest a straight no hassle deal. I don't work so I wondered if we might only get $600 for my husband. At first I couldn't remember if we exempted the 4 kids or just took them at end of year deducs.

Anyway, we recieved the full refund in a DD TODAY! Whew :) And yes, it is already spent on BILLS mailed this morning.

FYI, I had been checking the irs website on "Where is my check" even late last night and nothing. This morning it showed a deposit scheduled for now until the 19th and when I called the bank it was there already. I guess they wait until the last minute to show it is processed so keep your chin up if you are expecting it soon.

I received my tax refund in the bank on Mon.5/13 and checked for my stimulus check on the IRS website and it said it should be deposited on Tues. 5/20.(I was one of the people who wait till 4/15 to mail mine in!)Considering it has only been a month since I mailed my taxes in, they did a pretty good job.(MY SS ends in 48 so it's only a couple weeks late.)

You at Wood TV 8 have lead the people to belive that everyone single would get $600.00 and married couples would get $1200.00. I don't belive this to be true. Would you PLEASE make this a little clearer to all that listen to Wood TV 8 Thank You

What can you do about contacting someone if you are a week past your deposit due date for direct deposit? Both my girlfriend and I have not seen anything come into our bank accounts and its been over a week now.

I think its crap that i now have to wait for JUlY to come around. The IRS has lost their fricken mind. I swear i am the only person waiting for this extra money.

According to the schedule your paper check should be mailed on 05-23-08.

I believe I read somewhere that if you owed taxes at all and even if you paid them with a debit that your check will be MAILED. The only one getting the direct deposit stim. are the ones who received REFUNDS and those refunds were direct deposited. Check the schedule for 15 to see the mailing date.

We have friends who had to pay and they got theirs by direct deposit! They now tell me on their web site that it will be sent by May 23. If I don't get it by June 20 let them know!!!

Why are 17 year olds not being included as long as they are dependants for us. This is wrong!! We have open houses, graduations, college costs and many more expenses that would go to our local economy . I just do not understand this!

My roommate should have gotten hers by May 2nd. NO LUCK. I should have gotten mine by today. NO LUCK! Is there a problem? Is anyone else not getting theirs by the time/date indicated???
