LOL When they privatize the mail, the poor nimwitted Teabaggers, who live in trailers down by the river in Satan's country and tow the interests of the billionaire Koch brothers, will pay the highest price for mail service. It's happened in EVERY industry and every form of American government. People, WAKE UP, the Robber Barons are coming back and if you aren't a billionaire, you'll soon be a serf preoccupied with the masses about the name of the new prince!!! Isn't it ironic that one day America will face another King George???? It would serve the Teabaggers right, since they know nothing about the Boston Tea Party or history in general.

I would hope they call it a murder, but considering it's the confederacy, they probably view the death of any black person as a plus.
He was a white guy, with a mental disability from what the neighbors said, beat by 4 blacks and thrown to the street to be run over. All he probably wanted at the chevron station was some skittles.

Wrong, it is used by 25% of all corporations, and should be used by ALL public & private employers.
Requiring them to set aside money to pay for the benefits they are promising isn't the problem; the problem is companies & govt agencies who promise benefits they obviously have no intention of paying for.
Just look at Detroit's bankruptcy & that of GM & Chrysler. When the bills came due for those benefits they promised years ago, suddenly they can't pay.
Bottom line, if you're going to promise future benefits in exchange for lower wages today, then you should be required to set aside the money NOW to be able to pay those benefits in the future.
This is a common scam that is finally getting some much needed publicity.
Yes lets bankrupt the entire counts right now. You want the USPS to do this but why not all gov agencies? You say they should, so what about our Vets from all those pointless wars?

Currently the VA is way behind on those payments. Lets make the VA get all that pension and health care $$ upfront this year. You know whats going to happen? They wont be able to even come close. Now lets do this for all gov agencies and there goes every dollar the US has access to.

Its unfair to cherry pick which agencies you think should have to do accounting like this and it is not sustainable even in the short term to do it for every gov agency. Also, point out any other agency right now that has to deal with the same terms as theh USPS?

If it's not sustainable, then we shouldn't be promising benefits we have no intention & no way of paying for.

Yes, every govt agency should have to 100% fund all future promised benefits now, or tell people the truth that we can't afford their benefits.

What are you planning to do when the bill for those benefits come due? Print money to pay for it? Or go bankrupt like Detroit?

or do like now and "Delay, Deny, Wait till We Die". You keep going on about bankruptcy like Detroit but if we implement that now, the entire country would be filing for bankruptcy by the end of the year. So two paths, same outcome; one just comes much quicker.

But you are right that they need to quit offering benefits that we can not pay back. So lets start scaling back VA benefits for all those people whom went to war for us but we lied to them and now their benefits, health insurance and retirements gone. GI BILL? get rid of it too.

Now good luck getting the manpower you need for the armed services which leads to national security issues.

I know this is speculation but i want you to see how changes like that to part of the most expensive programs we have will affect those whom deserve the benefits granted to them.

No, we get rid of pensions & benefits for Congress and all other govt employees making more than $100k/yr. We get rid of tax breaks for the rich and oil companies and every other company. We stop sending billions in "aid" to other countries. We quit wasting millions to study cow farts or how fast grass grows or whatever other crap we're spending money on.

And yes, we close hundreds of bases worldwide and bring our troops home and stop building other countries while our own is falling down around us.

Has anyone in Congress been to a Post Office?
Who gets their mothers and fathers mail?
The P.O.is suppose to be all about customer service.Yet they have actually considered no home delivery.(California Congressmen)who goes to the P.O.for you?
This is all about what the P.O.does and has done.
This is what seperates it from others.
Just let Saturday go-If you had any idea what working on Saturdays causes in the P.O.it would just settle things down. And the mail decline, its there.
We should not have Congress who know nothing about the P.O.say really what should be done, and not done
Please go in to any size P.O.not just one.Do your home work.
The mail gets out due to the Carriers and drivers. Not a Congressmen or women
