"Collective action" ? What he means is Marxism-Leninism-Stalinism, but he won't say that too loudly.

Yes he is very careful. That is the genius part of it all. Most communist despots would have tried to implement their evil plan as soon as they gained the levers of power, but not Obama. Even though he did the improbable and got elected President he sat on his secret plan for one whole term so nobody would notice. Then he gambled everything by running for a second term. After becoming only the third Democrat to be reelected in the last 90 years he can now unleash his plan. It's genius and we are lucky to have people like you who can see though it all.

If that word "collective" doesn't tip off those people on the left who don't think Obama is a socialist/communist, then nothing will. They will remain one-issue voters who won't know what hit them even after it hits them as long as they get the one thing they voted for: "gay marriage" for the gays, immigration reform for illegal immigrants, abortion rights for slutty women, continued checks and freebies for people who think the role of government is to support them, etc. etc. ad nauseum. And when China and other countries stop sending money to the USA, the support is cut out abruptly, and everything collapses, they'll all be blinking in the incoming headlights wondering "What happened?!"

It was infamous, but I of course would not fit in with that crowd. Actually I think it closed when I was still a kid.

... late 60's early 70's. How 'bout The Coventry on Queens Blvd? I saw KISS there when they were nothing but a bunch of look alike long haired mimes dressed like the Beatles, sensational act though. Do you remember Max's Kansas City? I remember seeing Debbie Harry and Blondie there when they too were struggling, right before their big record contract and take-off.

I also partied at Danceteria. I remember Madonna when she was one of the go go dancers. She too at the time had not taken off. Look at her now! Does the Joker II in Passiac NJ ring a bell? We'd party it practically every weekend back in the early 70's. Twisted Sister was one of the main acts. Also a great band, at a time when they too were clubbing and struggling.
