Letters to the editor: Reversing Bush-Cheney

Full story: San Gabriel Valley Tribune

In the last few months, all I see are these so-called tea partiers "wanting a return to the good old days!" The good old days of what, Jim Crow or a taste of the aftermath after 1929? Perhaps these people yearn for a regression to the recent past, the eight years of Republican rule and the Bush-Cheney fiasco.

Poor Rueben:
So, the SEIU has sent out new talking points? The evil corporations that provide so much of Limbaugh's income are the same ones that donate most of the money to the DNC? Small probelm, Limbuagh is a private citizen and people are free to listen or not as they choose, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Dodd, and Barney Franks are ELECTED officials and vote on laws that affect our lives! Or have you not figured that out? By theway, how much are the DNC, and SEIU paying you for the hate-filled speech that you spew out?

Reuben, what you don't understand is that this issue crosses party lines. You mistakenly assume Tea party activists listen to Rush and Fox news. Many of us do not. What we do not want is more government control. Please educate yourself before spewing hate speech.

Reuben, your letter is spot on. The teahadists are a disorganized but loud minority who are on the fringe of society and reason. It's great that they speak out loud because the more they do, the more their ignorance, hypocrisies, and outright lies are revealed as you point out in your letter.

Good job Reuben, we won't let these bastards ruin America.

Our country may never overcome the excess of Bush/Cheney...$10.6 trillion in deficit and thousands killed in two wars....never has america been knowing wounded from the executive office so badly...we can only pray that Obama has enough support and knowledge to keep us afloat.....

All of these responders are misguided in their focus on national diatribe. Look here- locally. The unraveling begins here in our own Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District. Ms. Licari in her letter to the Editor makes a compelling argument against the so-called Confucius Classroom- an imported educational and cultural institute supported by the Chinese Communist Party and soon to be implemented in one of the District's middle schools. I agree with her sentiments wholeheartedly and go a step further to demand that the District Board rescind their decision.

"lets get it right this time."

The brief is the truth that there are no WMDs in Iraq.

The democracy also fails, as none of the Iraqi groups want a puppet Iraqi president who is controlled by the US government.

Bush & Cheney bust a move, they all fall apart.
