According to the Messiah he has reduced taxes on small business 8 times. But it isn't just taxes. Businesses, large, and small are afraid to expand their businesses. They are afraid to borrow money, and are afraid of the coming taxes, and costs of healthcare. They are waiting for the November elections. The don't trust the Democrats, and are hoping if the Republicans take back the Majority they will be less punitive.

SEE HOW CROOKED THE TAX SYSTEM IS,EVERONE SHOULD BE
TAX THE SAME %%%%%%%!!!THIS IS GOING AGAINST THE
14TH AMENDMENT!The Equal Protection Clause, part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, provides that "no state shall ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws".[1] The Equal Protection Clause can be seen as an attempt to secure the promise of the United States' professed commitment to the proposition that "all men are created equal"[2] by empowering the judiciary to enforce that principle against the states. As written it applied only to state governments, but it has since been interpreted to apply to the Federal Government of the United States as well.
More concretely, the Equal Protection Clause, along with the rest of the Fourteenth Amendment, marked a great shift in American constitutionalism. Before the enactment of the Fourteenth Amendment, the Bill of Rights protected individual rights only from invasion by the federal government. After the Fourteenth Amendment was enacted, the Constitution also protected rights from abridgment by state leaders and governments, even including some rights that arguably were not protected from abridgment by the federal government. In the wake of the Fourteenth Amendment, the states could not, among other things, deprive people of the equal protection of the laws. What exactly such a requirement means has been the subject of much debate, and the story of the Equal Protection Clause is the gradual explication of its meaning THE RICH ARE GETTING ROBED!!!!!!!!!!
I hear lavender is the most popular robe color this season.

I hope the so-called afraid people lose all their money after the republicans get back in office. If republicans are so stupid as to not see what happened with bush, they deserve to lose it all.

It really does not matter which party you choose they all lie they all don't really care about America anymore.

Republicans are already rich as well as some of the old Dems that are there Obamam is just abiding his time he does not know what he is doing and now he cannot even appear like a leader! He allows all foreigners anything that is divisive he will embrace that but helping America he will not.

We need a new voice in America and not Islam either!

The Speaker of the House began using an Air Force jet after 9/11. It was a Bush Administration policy, probably a good idea.
Of course the teabaggers weren't upset about the cost when Dennis Hastert was Speaker. It's true the jet flies further when Pelosi travels home to California than it did when Hastert flew to Northern Illinois, but let's be fair. Hastert is awfully fat, and it took a LOT of jet fuel to get his load into the air and take him home.
LOL!!!
No one liked it when elitist politicians used private jets at taxpayer expense. But you oh-so-conveniently left out the part where Pelosi and friends gave themselves new, luxury jets at taxpayer expense during a time of emergency bailouts for banks, auto industry, etc…

Congress and We the People were blackmailed and threatened with Marshall Law due to gravity of economic emergency at the time. Yet somehow, somehow Ms. Pelosi found a way to indulge herself with extravagant luxury at taxpayer expense.

Sort of like all of the extravagant parties and vacations the residents of the White House indulge in, despite our Nation’s state of bankruptcy. We pay and are asked to sacrifice while the good times never end for elitist politicians.

The real cause and effect of our woes hasn’t been addressed by either republicans or democrats running for office. Exception being very few libertarian politicians.

Unless or until “the fourth branch of government” is eliminated, NOTHING will CHANGE or improve. We will suffer endless wars, unstable, debauched currency, government oppression, etc…. until the 97 year reign of tyranny by Federal Reserve is a thing of the past.

boehner said he would take what he could get for the middle class in extending the same tax rates for the american people in these uncertain times.that being said, already something is being made of this by him conceding this already. the way i see it nothing will get done and things will be worse and not better. this administration has spent more than pres. bush. and he didn't have two planes fly into the world trade center. never forget. the housing idea was clintons and the dems. policies. we know what happened there. these people want to tax somebody for power. they are out of control, do not allow this to happen. vote republican to fix this mess. never forget.

Boener can say anything he wants. It will be up to the Senate to pass the tax cut extention, or not. There are several Democrats that think the tax cuts should be extended in totality, so they will probably be extended without Johnny boy.

All the incumbents, Republicans, and Democrats will come under scrutiny this election. They have been in office much too long, and have forgoten it is the people that governs, not the elitists that believe they are in charge. The November election will be a rude awakening for most of them.

Agree. The elected must be purged again if they continue to run the tax payer & their children over the cliff.

The Scumbag-0-crats thought they were the only alternative and therefore could screw us even deeper. They are wrong.

YOu come VERY close to telling the truth, here - that big business and the American corporation are putting their party, the Republicans, ahead of this country's interests just as the Republicans put corporate well-being ahead of those interests.

I would not actually be surprised to see a recovery next year, should the GOP take control of COngress. Not because of anything they do, or any bills they pass (though one or more of those will likely get the CREDIT for any such recovery), but because the big-money boys will be comfortable with their friends back in charge and will loosen up the money supply.

Republicans are un-American. It's as simple as that.

For Pelosi and jet travel, read this, ignoramus:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/pelosi/jet.asp

Pelosi only requested a military jet (which as Speaker she was REQUIRED to use) with a long enough range to get her to California nonstop. Nothing about size, luxury, or anything else. And she flies FAR less often than Hastert did.

Presidents have ALWAYS given frequent and lavish parties, nothing at all new there. Many are given for foreign leaders and are affairs of state. Pretending that the Obamas do this more than other Presidents is just partisan poop.

The Democrats have 48 days to prove to the electrate that they have the solutions to America's fiscal problems. Or to solve just one problem. Instead they multiplied the Healthcare problems by 1,000, and they have no solutions. That is why the Republicans will win big November 2nd.

Talk won't win it for you, CrazyLady, you're going to have to get out the votes. Your own teabagger friends are making it harder on you, too! You've as good as lost Delaware, and any chance to take back the Senate.

Republicans have NO solutions but to cut taxes, which will increase deficits without solving unemployment. They have to hope that their Wall St. buddies will bail them out by loosening up the money supply if they win....they have nothing else.

You are wrong. The TEA Party people will get out the vote. They are already voting in greater numbers then the Democrats in this off year election. So many people sent Christine O Donnell money this morning they crashed her system. Now even the Republicans want to send her money. BTW, according to a staffer I spoke with to get an address to send my check, the money is from everywhere, Republicans, Independents, and disgruntled Democrats. Democrats grovel in no man's land.
