House Republicans vote for business tax cut
House Republicans, who fervently pound the podium against the deficit, didn't blink Friday at passing a whopping $287 billion business tax cut measure with no effort to pay for or offset that amount.

It will be paid for by increased economic activity among the businesses that benefit from this which will increase the tax base because of an increase in hiring by those businesses. The same would happen if the American taxpayers also got a tax cut which would generate more money for the working class to spend which would stimulate economic growth with a subsequent increase in employment and therefore ,again, more of a tax base.WTAE-TV in PIT displays a shocking ignorance for economics in its failure to comprehend or take note of this.Or maybe its typical media bias to not balance their story with both sides of an issue.

This is a suckers move.
The House Republicans made such noise over the VA Health Care debacle, but have not approved the $35 Billion needed for Clinics and Staffing for Veterans, but they're found it to pass a $289 Billion Corporate Tax Cut to increase our $17 Trillion National Debt. They Republicans also failed to provide $11 Billion in funding to keep 700,000 Construction workers on the job to complete repairs and maintenance on America's bridges and highways.
Now we just cut social programs and sequestration will reduce our Military, but the Republicans find it essential to pass the same 2003 Bush Tax cuts that turned the surplus into record deficits and lead to the greatest dismantling of an economy in a lifetime on the way to losing 700,000 jobs per month. These are the same failed ideas and exact Tax Cuts that ruined the American economy and middle class in 2007 and 2008
Making those tax cuts permanent takes any motivation from operators to purchase factory orders and hire new personal to run those machines. The cuts will be around next year or they year after so there is no incentive to go out and place orders or expand operations this year.

These are the very 2003 Bush Tax Cuts that turned the surplus into a record $1.5 Trillion in deficits and created the massive loss of jobs throughout America and threatened the World's Economy.
We have witnessed these policies in action and suffered the consequences as a nation. It makes no sense to borrow money from the Chinese or Saudis to pay for tax cuts for a privileged few in the population.

When businesses are held accountable for hiring illegals, then come back and say that.
But until then, businesses are playing both sides if the coin.
It is a big scam.

These are the same 2003 Bush tax Cuts, how then did we lose 10 Million jobs after those cuts and watch the economy flushed down the drain? Stop being a tool for the plutocrats. You have all the evidence those tax cuts didn't work and the same cuts won't this time either.
