The Mayor should just pour gas on the GE money and burn it.Hope the next Mayor has alittle more common sense.

What's wrong with giving two startups $45k? at least they are legit smalll businesses with principals that have financial need, as opposed to restaurants with wealthy owners.

Not a big fan of any gov support, but the GE money has to go somewhere....

How about giving no money to anyone, but loan them the money at no interest therefore allowing more businesses to benefit from the money.Really give money away for one job serously!Hand up not hand out.

The city got this money "IN LIEU OF TAXES". It was assumed it would be used to reduce the tax rate but some greedy bozo decided to start a slush fund with it instead. Mayor Bianchi could use it for its intended purpose.

Having said that, these two business are a better fit than the GD Colonial or EV Worldrobbery or other GOB friends.

and why was the Ethnic Fair shoved down to South street? Not good enough to use North street with all its expensive electric outlets? Did the business owners push them out because of the minority factor? Just curious since we spent a bundle fixing up Norths street. I thought we wanted everyone to see it.
